Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.

Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.

Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.

Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.

Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.

• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy this ladies! I LOVE THIS JACKET!!! I have had many jackets over the years, but this one is the BEST ever! I am fairly tall at 5'9", so I have a hard time finding jackets that are long enough, and won't ride up when I tuck it under my harness. I also have a hard time finding a warm enough jacket that doesn't compromise on the dexterity. I like to be able to move my arms when I am ice climbing, and not feel like a stuffed pumpkin! This jacket has it all: style, warmth, dexterity, elastic cuffs to keep out the cold and snow; and the hood is long enough so you can slide your helmet under it smoothly! I love the magenta too! It's a great shade of pink!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Layer and All Around Jacket This is by far the best layer jacket I have owned. I wear it skiing and shoeing in varying weather. The jacket is protective of moisture and wind. On windy cold days, I will put the hood on under my helmet for added warmth. I wear it with my Phase SV and Sentinel shell when it's colder than 35F. It fits great under the shell, and there's no messy layer fitting issues. I imagine that it will be a great jacket for sporting events in the spring and fall on its own. It's extremely lightweight and breathable while still being warm. I absolutely love it. ,,,,Runs slightly small: I am a street size 4, 5'4" and 130lbs. I wear a size Medium/6 in Arc'Teryx. ,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super versatile and incredibly warm for being so light weight. I got this jacket in the middle of the Anchorage winter and it worked terrific as a midlayer for those really chilly days. Now that it has warmed up, it is just as perfect as an everyday jacket in the mid 40s. It is super breathable along the sides and the hood makes it extra cosy . It is great for wearing over fleece because of the slick inside fabric. Also the hand pockets are really soft and the cuffs are very cool. Also, the bright green is super cheerful, although much brighter than in all the pictures I saw online. Also also, it packs up very small for how warm it is which was very helpful when packing in a carryon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the best jacket I have ever purchased I purchased this jacket when it first got released and although arcteryx has a stellar reputation, I was still skeptical because of the synthetic insulation. I had gone thru similar jackets by patagonia and north face and froze my you know what off despite their claims of superior warmth. The "atom" by arcteryx is AMAZING! It keeps me extremely warm in 30 degree temps while at the same time not being too warm for 60 degree temps. I wear this as a 3-season jacket. I don't know how they did it but they did it! I love this jacket so much I bought the "atom" vest too and it's just as awesome!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was like, "WOW!" I was nervous that this jacket would be poofy and winter-jacket-like..NO WAY! I was very surprised to find this jacket was so slim line. It really looks more poofy in the picture for some reason. It is the coolest jacket i have ever owned and super warm. I know i will be able to wear this in casual and even in pretty dressy settings for the winter. I was looking for a really cool looking jacket and I was worried b/c i have never really heard of the Arc'teryx name before. But i looked it up on line and found it to be a very good company that sells top of the line clothing! I feel like I got a reallllly good deal here and I'm going to keep this for sure!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OhHhhH It's the best! This jacket has been great! I have probably way too many pieces of gear than I need, and I find myself reaching for this jacket much more than I expected. What's really great about it is the fact that it's small, thin, and light. It's easy *and comfortable* to layer under shells, etc. Only negative is that I wish it was a tad bit warmer...but it gets the job done 95% of the time. I'm thinking of getting a down sweater to fill that gap,,,,The hood is heaven. It's super warm, hugs your face, and almost totally windproof. Life-saver for sure. 100% get the hooded version!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Jacket This jacket is seriously amazing. In one crazy week I took this jacket through 15 degree (F) and snow to 65 and sunny and it performed wonderfully throughout. I needed a shell in the colder, snowier weather, though I tend to layer heavily often. And in the warmer but still brisk weather it was still perfect. I can't wait to take this jacket on some more serious rock climbing adventures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great Arcteryx jacket! I finally had to give in and replace my old beloved Arcteryx jacket after many good years together and after trying on many other brands and jackets settled on the Atom LT Hoody. I am very happy with the coat. It is warm but not too heavy for everyday wear in the humid, chilly, Tennessee winters. It fits nicely- not big and bulky- and very important to me - the arms are long enough!
