ARC'TERYX MEASUREMENT GUIDE
How to Find Your Foot Measurements
Arc'teryx packs are sized either in 3-length options: Short (S), Regular (R) and Tall (T), or in 2-length options: Short/Regular (SR), and Regular/Tall (RT).
Sizing refers to YOUR OWN BACK LENGTH
Measure your Back:
• Measure along the spine between the 7th cervical vertebra and the level of the hip iliac crest
• Compare this measurement to the Sizing Charts
• It is possible to interchange different size shoulder strap and hipbelt components on many Arc'teryx Packs, but this will not change or affect the back-length of the pack.

holds a lot, very comfortableWhat can I say, I love this backpack. It's super comfortable, the hip belt has a disc that pivots to help balance the load which really works out great. It holds a lot of gear, I tend to over pack(a flaw I'm working on). There are enough pockets to organize your smaller items and the main area is huge and the whole thing is adjustable, so it works for a short or long trip. You can top load it or unzip it and panel load. My only complaint is I have not found a water bladder that will fit in the hydration pocket. Although I am not missing it much because there are secure mesh pockets for water bottles that are easy to reach with the pack on.

Decent DesignI bought this back before heading off on a 3 month road trip through the western USA, with a bunch of multi-day hikes planned. The pivoting waist belt works like a charm (but be careful sitting on something uneven with the pack on as the bag adjusts and sends you flying), with chunky, padded support. The clam-shell design is what drew me to the pack, and allows you to access the stuff at the bottom of your pack really easily. It has a nice array for pockets, but the top one is a bit unusual as it molds to the top of the rest of your pack and limits what you can have in there.,,,,

Momma likes...my g/f and i are planning a year-long trip throughout europe and she put me in charge of the packs. i got her this one and she loves it! she's 5'2 and the regular fits perfectly. the adjustable shoulder straps and swivel hipbelt really made her day when we took them out for a dayhike with full loads. she really enjoys the u-zipper access. totally makes getting to your things and packing that much easier. get it!
