Chest / Bust - Measure around your chest / bust, holding the measuring tape under your armpit.

Waist - Measure around the natural waist, which is often the narrowest part of your waist.

Hip - Measure around your hips at the widest part.

Sleeve Length - With your arms in a slightly bent postion, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist.

Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.

Dress Length - Measuring the front of the garment from the neckline at shoulder to the hem edge.

Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.

Hand Length - Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of the palm.

Hand Width - Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb.

• Please note that all the info provided above refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.

Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.

Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.

Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.

Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.

Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.

• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough, minimalist, water and wind proof jacket I'm a big, big fan of this jacket. I wear it lots while rock/ice climbing, mountaineering, and skiing. I brought it to Aconcagua and it held up well - did a great job blocking Aconcagua's notoriously bad wind.,,,,I was debating between the SV (Pro Shell) and SL (Pac Lite) because I wasn't sure of the Pac Lite would be tough enough for the outdoor activities I do. I've put this jacket through its paces for the last 1.5 years and it's held up wonderfully so far. I also like the elevated pockets so I can access them with a harness on. GREAT JACKET!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even fits in the city! Hey I love this Jacket! Its ultralight and gives me all the protection i need against wind and rain: I really like the color, its not all black like most of the jackets and not a bright color where I am seen be everyone. You could say its boring this greyish white, but hey, the best of it are the zippers! i would never wear a jacket in this pink color, but just the zippers, they make it special and ladylike.,,i could use though some more pockets, but that would ruin the style and not be ladylike...,,go for it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product worth every penny My wife is health nut and loves to walk and run. Living in Buffalo we don't always have the best weather and she needed something that was waterproof, warm enough to hold out a morning chill and breathable enough for running. This jacket has performed excellent on all fronts. The only thing I didn't expect was how snug the jacket fits. Turns out she prefers it this way but initially she was concerned that even a fairly thin fleece made the arm pits uncomfortably tight. If your looking to layer go up a size.,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My wife loves this rain jacket! After buying my Arcteryx last year I had to buy my wife one to prepare for out next trip. I can't imaging walking across Spain without this gear in my pack. The are 3 things you should know about this jacket. #1 It is very light. #2 It has great ventilation. #3 It's bullet proof when it comes to water. This is a must have for any pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a solid, lightweight, waterproof jacket! I LOVE this jacket. I bought one of these previously for my other half while I was still using my old EMS rain jacket. This year, I decided to update part of my gear, rain gear included. I tried on plenty of Arcteryx jackets at a local backcountry store and all fit a little weird. I am a 5'3" female, weighing in around 115 lbs with normal length(?) arms. I was in a pinch, needing a jacket for a trip and decided to buy this, even though I was very unsure about the fitting. I bought this jacket in a small and the waist landed, that's right, exactly at my waist. The arms were a perfect length going slightly past my wrists so when extending my arms the sleeves have no problem moving up or down. I always go for a lightweight rain jacket in that it is versatile and can be worn within many different seasons. This jacket is loose enough that I can wear a light down jacket underneath. Highly recommend for someone looking for a lightweight, great quality jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Arcteryx doesn't mess around Has everything you need to endure winter at its best without excess weight. I've used this jacket on several winter backpacking trips and when it all comes down to it, you can't get a better option than this. Hood fits over ski helmet which is nice too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Alpha SL I love this jacket. These jackets are extremely lighweight. They are very minimalistic- so don't expect a lot of bells and whistles. They provide excellnt breathability, and with pit zips you can vent excess heat if needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't beat Arc'teryx No complaints for this jacket. Lightweight and keeps you dry. I'm 5'10'' 145 and large is perfect. Thank you arc'teryx for making sleeves for girls with long arms! Can still fit a softshell underneath.
