"Very comfy not for really cold temps" 12/08/11

this is one of the most comfortable beanies ever not too tight not itchy but I wore it on the first days in the 30's in wind and the cold air went straight through like it wasnt even there. Just use it for what its meant to do, which I guess is no wind days in the 30-40's with activity.

This is a pretty good hat, it's thin and feels like you're not wearing much on your head and it's wool. I haven't tried it in the ultra cold weather, but for moderately cold it's not bad.

This would be perfect for shoulder seasons or stenuous activity but don't expect a think, wnter hat. The raspberry color gives the Julia Roberts look I've been pining for.

This Beanie is perfect. I am as particular about my Beanie as anyone you will ever meet. In fact, my friends regularly accuse me of having obsessive compulsive disorder due to this. So after losing my favorite, I searched for months (no joke) and bought at least 5 different Beanie's, none of which I was happy with. Then I found this one! This is the perfect Beanie for Southeast Alaska. It has just the right amount of warmth. Southeast Alaska isn't really all that cold so this wouldn't make a good hat for extreme cold weather but for temps around freezing, it's perfect. It keeps your head warm without getting too hot. The quality of this beanie is great, no stitching lines on the top or inside, the wool is soft and strong. My only complaint is that it stretches out a bit after a few uses, but after washing it it seems to go back to its original size.
