The Miura 30 Pack by Arcteryx is a mid-sized convertible that will hold all the day's necessities and climbing gear on the inside, and a rope can be strapped to the outside in two different configurations. Release the Roll Top and open the front panel for instant access to all the gear.

"Tough" 06/18/11

Tough back built to last. The drawbridge opening is well-designed and executed. Everything is has it's place, no extra material, no wasted space. In order to close the top, you have to fold the top down twice, so you can't overpack it. Beside the kangaroo pocket and top zipper pocket help, you get 30L of unadulterated space not taken by packets and dividers. According to a friend the 30L pack meets all international carry-on specs, whereas the tall does not. If this is the size you need, it's worth it

i like this bag quite a bit. i love the two horizontal straps on the front. they are great for a snowboard or a sleeping pad. like the straps alot they are super comfey

"Great pack, built solid, holds my stuff." 05/28/10

The hardest part of this pack is that it's hard to overstuff since you have to close it drawbridge style and can't really shove things down while it's zipped up without it unzipping itself. But once you get the hang of things it holds a ton and is comfy on the back. Love the fold down top and being able to yank the whole thing open when I'm ready to go.

"Another Great Product from Arcteryx" 05/14/10

I've been wearing Arcteryx jackets for a while now and even have a pair of their pants, so I figured why not outfit my hiking gear collection with an Arcteryx backpack? I'm glad I did...this pack is very well made and feels very comfortable, even on extended day hikes that are steep and trecherous. I'm very heppy with this purchase.

"Like the Hubba Hubba Tent I have two in two different sizes" 01/08/10

This pack is so rad! Perfect for a day of sport. I got the 50L version for climbing in J Tree with a rope and a big rack. I do not like to attach the rope to the outside though. It pulls on the pack weird. But I dont mind because I dont like carrying rope and always ask someone to do it for me. If they say no I just tell them I am going to solo everything and hope I dont kill myself but if I do its their fault cause they didn't want to carry a rope. But thats not true........ Great Pack and you can fit a rope inside with some sport gear. IF you want to carry a trad rack, water, extra clothes, and a rope in the pack go for the 50L it is totally the perfect size.

"Great pack!" 10/29/09

I use this pack for climbing. I’m about 6 foot and picked up the 30 pack tall, which is about a 35L. it’s great, fits all my gear, very comfortable and adjustable. Arcteryx makes a kangaroo pouch that can hook to the front as well. The only down side is it’s not waterproof, you have to use the Arcteryx rain cover.

"Look out for your straps" 12/03/08

Great resistant bag with good ergonomic. The straps can fall of though - lost it in translation. Cons weight and price. Pro materials (as allways with arcteryx), colours and "volume efficient".
