The Men's Altra 75 Backpack by Arcteryx is this large volume trekking pack combines lightweight and durable traditional materials with the patented AC2 suspension system, delivering maximum comfort and load control in a lightweight package. The toploading Altra 75 also has a full length inverted U-zipper for panel-loading convenience, and breathable shoulder straps, backpanel and hipbelt offer warm weather comfort. Laminated and padded compression wings provide zipper protection and storage.

"Its Arcteryx @ half price! No Brainer." 04/03/13

I bought this pack for my boyfriend so that he can haul the majority of our camping and climbing gear (win-win)! He's 6ft and 190lbs and the Tall fit just fine. I took the pack to REI to compare to competitors (REI, Gregory, Osprey) and the other bags didn’t have waterproof material or waterproof outer zippers. The odd thing about this pack is that the water reservoir is to the side and not centered. Also there is no extra sleeping compartment for a sleeping bag/pad BUT the zippers can go all the way to the bottom so you can still remove gear from the bottom without disturbing the top. The moving lower back brace is amazing and the head rest for the back of your noggin is pretty sweet too.
