"These shorts are perfect." 07/20/12

High quality material and constructed very well, wouldn't expect anything else from Arc'teryx. I own a few pair of their shorts, and these are probably my favorite. Very tough and durable, but also look great as a casual short. I would like to mention that the color Carbide is a little off in the picture, it appears that it's more of a tan of light khaki color, but in person it's actually more of a light olive green. No complaints, I actually like the color better, but just a heads up. Nice slim fit through the legs (but not too slim,) with a perfect length, these sit right on my knee.

"Pretty Awesome Short" 06/23/12

I was looking for a tough tough long short that would be comfortable and stylish, and I'm happy to say these fit the bill. The construction and fabric feels really solid, so I don't expect them to fall apart any time soon. Sometimes the fabric seems even a little too stiff because it holds rinkles. This is not a big deal for me though.They are really comfortable and the fit is very nice. I expected them to be a little longer, they only go down to the top of my knee. I was hoping they would cover the top of the knee.I will buy these again happily, and if they hold up like I think they will, they will definitely be worth the price.

"Very high quality shorts!" 07/16/11

These shorts are designed and made to last a long time. You can tell as soon as you put them on. They are very comfortable and will not come apart at the seams due to the dual seam construction. I went on a short 8 mile hike and they move very freely. They are thick so can get a little warm. The inside lining around the waist is very comfortable on the skin so no chafing. I highly recommend these shorts.

"Great shorts, worth every penny" 07/12/10

These are some great, awsome shorts. There must be steel woven into the fabric, because they will survive anything you throw at them. I do wish they were a bit more breathable, as an hour long car ride in 90 degree weather left me with a sweat covered phone and wallet. Fit is great- I wear a 32 or 34 waist, got the 34 just in case and made the right choice. Love the black- put a chalk hand print on the back to show the ladies you are a cool rock climber and they are welcome to touch

"Comfy, smooth shorts" 04/17/10

The material and weight of these shorts is outstanding. Perfect for a 80F day or something cooler. They fit a slightly snug (I'm size 30) and are fairly long. Once you get moving, either walking to pickup some haute fro-yo or scrambling up rocks in the park, they feel superb.

"Good fit, performance and looks." 05/18/09

If your inseam is in the 34+" range, they'll help keep most your knee skin from rubbing off on the rocks when you're climbing. Honestly, I was hoping for an extra inch or two (that's what she said) in the inseam but I can't complain because they're better than all my 'regular length' shorts. I have about a 33" waist and 36" provides plenty of room for some high feet. They help me look much more rad than I usually do.
