The Men's Rampart Pant by Arcteryx is lightweight, breathable and durable. The Ramparts are urban inspired technical pants for climbing and hiking. Designed for unrestricted mobility they feature articulated knees and seat, and a gusseted crotch. Cargo pockets lie flat when empty and expand as needed. Gender specific patterning.

TerraTex fabric is lightweight and quick drying
Mesh-lined hand pockets, rear pockets, thigh pocket with flaps
Zippered fly closure with button and belt loops
Articulated patterning, gusseted crotch

"Favourite pants" 12/18/12

It's good and it's my first Arcteryx pants, they met or exceeded my expectations in every way. Everything else mentioned from other reviewers is spot on. Durable, light, cool, with unrestricted moveability. I use them for basically everything I do outdoors.

"Great for just about everything" 11/30/12

I really like these pants. They are so comfortable that I almost wear them exclusively. I have two pair and they are the go to pants in my wardrobe. I spent 2 1/2 weeks in Europe recently and packed these along. They take up very little space and you really can wash them by hand and let them dry out over night. You may lose a little change, but the important stuff doesn't fall out.

"best summer hiking pants" 09/29/12

I'VE BOUGHT SEVERAL PAIRS OF THESE. I use them for everything, from skateboarding, working out in the gym, hiking, climbing.. if I could only pick one pair of pants to wear for the rest of my life, these are it. If it's extremely cold I'll wear a base layer underneath. These pants are unreal, they dry quick, they are weightless (feels like I'm not wearing anything if I decide to forego the undies). I hope they never stop making these pants.. but I'm also sure the pairs I have will outlast me as long as I take decent care of them.. great pants, great fit. Arcteryx is the best

"buy these pants!" 06/30/12

At first I couldn't believe I was even considering spending this much on a pair of pants...after all, how good could they really be? But once I received them I realized that they were incredibly light weight, pack down to nothing, and were worth every penny. If I could go back and do it again I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. Buy these pants!

"Sweet pants. Need More!" 05/29/12

Got the Grey in a 38 Long. Fit a litle bigger than 38 waist dress pants, but tie up a length of webbing as a belt and good to go. Good enough for business casual at the office, cool enough to wear to the bar after work, and great to wake up after the bar and head out doors. I kind of wish they made them in some of the more outrageous colors Arcteryx uses for other gear- bright orange would be a showstopper. I'll probably get a second pair- wearable in any situation and hopefully as durable as other Arcteryx products.

"Solid, Ergonomic, Comfortable" 01/16/12

Solid pant, excellant for traveling, sitting without bunching, cool on hot days, ergonomic with easy access.Also great for karate in the garage with neighbors when your gi is dirty.
