"Nearly Perfect Shorts" 07/06/12
These shorts are nearly perfect! They are extremely lightweight and dry very quickly, making them completely comfortable in warm weather. The flaps on the cargo/back pockets keep contents safe, yet fold completely flat and give the shorts are very sleek appearance. It's hard to find anything negative to say about these, I only wish they made these in Nubian Brown (like the ladies' version).
"These are my favorite shorts to date" 04/26/12
They are highly resistant to abrasion and dry extremely quickly. These are my favorite shorts to date. Just what I wanted--lighter and more stretchy and flexible than most shorts; comfortable in warm weather; not too low in the crotch, so they're easy to hike in. And they look good, so you don't feel silly if you wear them in the city.
"The Best Shorts I Own" 08/29/11
These shorts are awesome! Comfortable, lightweight, stylish and they dry in a flash. I always use them for swimming if I forget my trunks. Super durable as well...in well over a year I've snagged them on countless things and only have one tiny rip barely discernible by the naked eye. I'm wearing them right now in fact...forgot I even had anything on they're so comfy. Get a pair or two - definitely worth the price.
"Light and Strong" 12/05/10
I was surprised how thin these were. I was even more surprised at how tough they are to endure scrapes as you rock climb and such. Lots of pockets for your things and deep too without fear of things falling out. The only issue I have is that size 30" is the smallest these come in. My waist is 28", so I always have to wear a belt. But since the shorts are so light, I don't really have to worry about constantly adjusting my belt for fear of the shorts being dragged down after a while.
"Love this brand! Just a little tighter than I'm used to." 05/17/10
Quality shorts without question. I just like my shorts a little more loose fitting. Don't get me wrong they fit just a little narrow in the leg.
"Best hiking shorts" 02/20/10
I live neer Joshua Tree and spend a decent amount of time there. Hiking or scrambling through the rocks in these shorts is a breeze. They are super light weight and the stretchy material helps the croch area not be restrictive. Plus they look good for every day wear also. I think the sizing is a bit small. Go with the next size up. A 36" fit a normal 34" wearing waste.
"Comfy, butt flattering shorts" 07/02/09
These shorts are ideal; they have excellent pocket placement that doesn't knock your knees, with nifty flaps that keep items secure. The material they are made out of is some sort of soft shell nylon that repels water, is stretchy and non-abrasive. So far (3 months) the two other pairs I own show no wear, and have become my favorite shorts by far. Oh, and they have a nice gusset in the crotch to keep the boys happy. I'm buying a third pair, just in case they 'improve' this design next season and thus ruin it.
"Bomber Shorts" 07/02/08
Just bought these shorts a month ago and was initially a little concerned by all the negative criticism they received for being too long. For me, the length is perfect. I normally wear knee length cargo shorts and these are right at my knee 150 lbs 6'0 30.I took them out climbing to Wyoming with me and they performed very well. They are particularly lightweight, comfortable, and very durable. The price tag is a bit much but you get what you pay for. I'll be ordering another pair soon!
"my new fav pair!" 04/11/08
these are some awesome shorts. theyre really lightweight and breathable so you dont get drenched with sweat. plus they have a little stretch. i also used these as swim shorts if im going to be near a lake or river on a backpacking trip.
