This jacket rocks! I sweat when I ski and don't like bulky jackets. I ordered the L and it was a little snug in the chest and back. Going to reorder XL which I tried on. Fits much better, tho the sales guy said I was 'swimming' in it. Sleeves are long but I'd rather have a bit of room to layer underneath if necessary. Probably not best for powder days as there's no skirt and its a bit short.
This is an amazing jacket. So lightweight, yet warm. I got the wheatgrass color somewhat reluctantly because cardinal was out in my size, but I am very pleased that I did. It's such an unusual shade of green. I cannot tell you how many compliments I have gotten on this jacket. I wish it had an inside pocket, though. Arcteryx is the bomb!
This piece is just the best for almost every single season. This new version is made out of the Fortius fabric from Arc`teryx which has all the qualities you need for a great softshell:- Breathable- Stretch- Very tough.I tend to get very hot very fast as I don`t know how to pace myself.... So this keeps me perfectly warm with just my base layer (usually a Phase piece from Arc`teryx) in cold conditions when I m cruising up the mountain but as soon as I need to take a break, I m not soaked in sweat and just need to add my Atom SV to stay toasty.
"This soft shell delivers as promised. Being warm and dry is worth the cost."

I've used this jacket for casual wear around town in a light rain and was more than satisfied. But, I've also used it in a layering system to spend 4 hours in a 20 degree photography blind and stayed toasty warm. It costs more than most but staying warm and dry is worth the money.
"Great jacket, not as warm as one might expect, great looking, very tough"

I am re-writing this cuz' my last long one "vanished' before I could submit it, so, short version.....Looks amazing in the Roxo color,(I want to see the Green!). Looks 10 of 10Not as warm or windresistant as expected. Warmth 6 of 10I have had it over a year, very tough, and no visible wear Durability 9 of 10If you want something "cozy" warm, go with the HylussIf you are active and layer, as well as want something to wear in a more broad temp range, go with this. I must say, the hood on this and most other Arctyrex products is the selling point for me. You HAVE to try a helmet hood to understand why this is so important, even without ever wearing a helmet!!Hope this helps!
