"Great jacket for everything in cold weather"  09/26/09

The jacket is definitely worth the money if you're a winter sports man. The out layer is construct of very tough fabric and has great wind resistance and very good breathability. Also it has the best water resistance I've ever seen(although I have never washed it yet). All the cords are hide into the pockets which made the jacket look super clean. The fit is perfect just as other arcteryx clothes but the hood is a little too big. It is the perfect size for wearing a helmet but can be also adjusted to fit your head(although doesn't look as good). I'm now commuting with my bike in this jacket everyday and it just work perfectly in any weather.

"Ripoff - Ordered "Spring 2009" and Moosejaw shipped a jacket made in 2006 in China"  09/01/09

Watch out for the sale on this item. The item I received was not "Spring 2009" as stated it was manufactured in 2006 in China with a defect. My second Gamma MX Hoody ordered from Moosejaw so far (first item made in Canada was excellent). Waiting for the situation to be resolved.

"You should have one if you like the BIRD"  08/19/09

Best all-round jacket in the market. Award-winning and Arcteeyx classic. Not too heavy not too thin. But be careful, it's pretty slim trimed. Hood is big enough and adjustable.

"Best soft shell ever made"  06/02/09

I thought I would never pay this much for a jacket, but I have to say it was worth it. I do everything in this jacket and it performs every time. Its the best ski and ice climbing jacket I have ever owned and its my nicest jacket for wearing around town. The fit is superior to all and every feature has come form years of outdoors experience.

"Great spring/fall jacket!"  05/11/09

I bought this jacket about a week ago and it got to me in time to take to San Fran. It was great in the bay area when it was windy. I am a taller slender guy and the medium fits really well (I am about 6'1"). I bought this as a simple Spring/Fall jacket to wear while backpacking and getting caught in the rain. So far I have to say that this jacket is the nicest jacket I have ever owned. I have a layered Columbia Titanium that keeps me warm but this jacket is just thick enough to keep me warm and just thin enough to let me breathe in those transitional months. I would have to say if you have the $$ then I highly recommend it!

"I bought this jacket for my brother and he digs it"  02/16/09

I tried it after he received it... I ran in it, I played golf in it, I flyfished in it, and you know what? I had a little afternoon delight shortly after wearing it. So not only does this jacket take care of the comfort thing, it helps get you L*&!

"This jacket is great, you'll never want something else unless you live in the Arctic cirle"  01/15/09

I go to college at GVSU on the West Side of Lower Michigan aka the snowbelt and we've been getting hammered pretty hard this winter. The temps have been in the negatives all week and this coat has proven its worth a few times over now. I wear a light hoody under it with my usual hat a gloves and it's fantastic. I blocks away the wind, keeps me warm outside and I can keep it on all class inside. The design is great, the side pockets are big enough for gloves hand which is nice. There's some other convenient pockets, the hoody is designed for helmets but very adjustable. I'm very proud of my first Moosejaw and Arct'ryx purchase, great buy! Thanks Moosejaw!

"Versatile and looks slick too!"  07/27/08

Great jacket, fits nice n snug but plenty of flexibility in it too. The nice big hood on it will come in use if ur whitewater rafting etc etc. Looks fine when u cinch the hood down nice n tight. Oh yeah and one other thing, i gave moosejaw some serious crap over the timing of the delivery had to be spot on and they nailed it. Couldn't have asked for more, from now on moosejaw is the place i check out 1st for my gear. believe the hype!

"Hood up!"  07/14/08

Being my first soft shell jacket I was a bit curious about how it would hold up. It turned out to be a fantastic jacket and has been with me a lot. It is not waterproof, but repels water quite well. Enough for you to find a dryer place to hang. Great in the mountains and great in the urban jungle. And as with all Arctreryx clothes, the fit is excellent. The only downside is the price.

"It delivers everything it promise - in style too!"  04/05/08

I tried this on first time in Canada 2005, i fell in love with it. I've meant to buy this ever since - needless to say, i got it! It has a perfect fit, long arms, great hood and it is actually really good looking too! This is my third soft shell jacket, and it will be more of them from Arc'teryx. It is not waterproof, if the rain is poring - i just use my hardshell.

"Best softshell on the market, bar none"  02/19/08

This jacket is the cream of the crop. I have owned TNF products in the past, many of them being softshell jackets. These jackets cannot hold a candle to this one. Being from the chicagoland area, I've experienced some extremely clod winters, and this jacket will keep you warm to about 10 below if you have a long sleeve shirt underneath. This jacket repels rain and snow exceptionally well for being a softshell, but being a softshell, the jacket is not waterproof, but it's pretty darn close. I recently went to Canada for a two week long, 230 mile canoe trip, and this was my jacket of choice. I have a Theta AR hardshell by Arc'Teryx and this jacket was out more than that one. We has several day
