Chest / Bust - Measure around your chest / bust, holding the measuring tape under your armpit.

Waist - Measure around the natural waist, which is often the narrowest part of your waist.

Hip - Measure around your hips at the widest part.

Sleeve Length - With your arms in a slightly bent position, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist.

Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.

Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.

Hand Length - Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of the palm.

Hand Width - Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb.

• Please note that all the info provided above refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.

Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.

Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.

Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.

Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.

Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.

• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive, but well worth it... my favorite fleece! I was pretty hesitant to drop $200 on a fleece. I'm glad I did! Also, now that I own it, I can see why the price tag is so high. the craftsmanship and quality is exceptional. the fleece is finely knit and woven. the fleece is extremely warm. AND it is by far the softest and most comfortable fleece I have ever owned. if it werent $200 I would buy a few more in a heartbeat. but it is... so I will have to stick with the one I have. Until I wear it out. which, as I said, the craftsmanship is amazing. so I dont really see it wearing out anytime soon. my fall hoodie/jacket of choice. did I mention its also stylish? it is...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm, good looking, light. Pros: Very warm, light, at 6'5" 215lbs. with long arms the XL is necessary for me, a bit baggy in the core area. The green color is nice as I don't often find myself in areas during hunting season. A light shell if you expect windy areas or biking at 40 F. You may have worked up enough heat/sweat to like the breeze and the wicking capability...I do as a sweaty bastard. ,,Cons: It's spendy, but was on sale to numb the sting. Unsure of the advantage of waterproof zippers as water will get to you and your stuff through the fabric but untested in the rain yet. Also what;s the purpose of the sleeve pocket, It may be more weatherproof, although rather small, can't even hold my phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Casual greatness I've never heard of lounging around the house carrying 200 around, that is until I put that 200 into one of these hoodies. Now I never seem to be without 200. The weave of this fleece makes this piece classy looking, like wearing a dressy sweater, all the while still performing like a fleece. The colors are simple, but defining, and the craftmanship is nothing short of Arcteryx. This hoody has become an instant favorite ever since I unpackaged it. Things I didn't bargain for A lint brush, wind tunnel. So yeah i could use this to delint all my other clothes, and wearing this alone on windy days is not too smart. I would use this only as an insulating layer if used technically.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Insulation Layer! The Covert Hoody was the first peice of Arc'teryx clothing i owned and let just say it left a lasting impression. I wore it everywhere/everyday! Hasn't worn out a bit, just gotten more comfortable, if thats possible. Doesn't privide a lot of wind protection, but that's not what it's made for...get the Fugative if you need the added wind protection. The hood is great inside a sweet shell like the Arc'teryx Beta AR, but can be a little much with a Arc'teryx Stingray. Depending on the shell you'll have over i may suggest going with the Covert Jacket vs. teh Covert hoody. Love this jacket to death!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from There are much better ways to spend 200 Very clean design, characteristic of all Arcteryx's products. However, the lack of a waist draw-chord makes fine-tuning the fit impossible - there is also no way to tighten the fleece at the wrists. Furthermore, tall individuals may want to look elsewhere for a fleece - the covert hoody is cut very short in the torso, often-times leaving belly skin exposed when reaching up - a rude surprise when it's cold out! Finally, this fleece CANNOT be worn on its own as an outer later if there's even a chance that it will be windy - wind cuts right through the garment. Not fun if you just need it for a brisk fall day with no a cloud in sight - who really wants to throw on an additional shell just to

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing product in all ways! The covert hoody is defined by its name itself. Since receiving this jacket, I've had superpowers bestowed upon me and the CIA recently hired me as one of their covert operatives. Thanks to the ease of movement in this jacket, I can now do roundhouse kicks on my enemies that would make even Chuck Norris cry! When I'm not on assignment, the product's smooth texture and great looks make me irresistible with the ladies. It's a really warm jacket but I haven't taken it out on an assignment where there's been any major amount of wind. All in all, this jacket is versatile and goes well in a casual environment and serves a lofty purpose for the cooler climate. A little birdie told me that this

Rated 4 out of 5 by from look for a great look on your BF? get it shipped to Europe super fast? get it at moosejaw! weeeelllll... since the hoody wasn't for me but for my boyfriend (for christmas) I can only say how I like it ON HIM. I first ordered a size L for him: it was too large. mostly because he likes his clothes rather tight (which he can, he looks sexy as anything in a tight tee). so I then ordered a M, and yes it's tighter. but also shorter. he's rather tall (no idea how many ' and " since I live in Switzerland where we have Meters and Centimeters as it should be.) so he would probably need anything between M and L. I still love the hoody though because it's really soft and makes me want to **** him all the time.<BR>and: great service, super fast and affordable (if still a little expensive) ship

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its a keeper It's sharp, it's made in Canada, it's warm, and it’s comfortable. Arcteryx makes some of the best urban hiking wear in my opinion. This hoody in black is so tasteful I wore it to temple on a winter Sabbath morning and still looked appropriately dressed. I will now wear it meeting up with old buddies on a December nyc evening. It's great sometimes you may need to layer it with a great quality thermal but the combo will keep you warm and sleek. I look forward to seeing how it holds up over time - I will keep you all posted if there is an issue. For now it's great metro trekking wear.
