ARC'TERYX MEASUREMENT and FIT GUIDE

HOW to MEASURE:

Chest / Bust - Measure around your chest / bust, holding the measuring tape under your armpit.

Waist - Measure around the natural waist, which is often the narrowest part of your waist.

Hip - Measure around your hips at the widest part.

Sleeve Length - With your arms in a slightly bent postion, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist.

Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.

Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.

Hand Length - Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of the palm.

Hand Width - Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb.

• Please note that all the info provided above refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.

FIT TYPE INFO and DETAILS:

Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.

Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.

Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.

Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.

Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.

• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket, stylish and minimalist style that looks fly in a world of ugly jackets Got the amazon. People compliment the color all the time. It is very warm, however on really cold days you gotta have something for than a tee under it. Hood adjustability is incredible. it goes big enough to fit a ski helmet or small enough to cover everything but your eyes securely. Great breathability under the armpits. The coolest thing and I don't know how they do this but when you put your hands in the pockets the pockets are already warm. Really incredible and a really nice touch when doing something on a cold day and then waiting instead of waiting for the natural heat of your hands to heat up the pockets they are already warm. real slick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely warm for the weight I've been wearing this jacket for the past week and I'm pretty impressed. At first I thought that the Atom SV would have a thicker dose of coreloft, but it definitely keeps you warm in super cold conditions. I've been toasty with just a long sleeve shirt in the low teens w/ windchills in the single digits. Also of note, the hood has several cord adjustments that aren't mentioned in the descriptions. Fits perfectly under my Theta hardshell. Overall I would highly recommend this jacket as a super warm, lightweight and extremely compressable jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth trading your firstborn child for this amazing jacket I debated between getting the Atom LT and the Atom SV and I'm thrilled I went with the heavier SV. When I don't need a hard shell in rain or wet conditions, this has become my go-to jacket for the Chicago winter. It's windproof and exceptionally warm for being so lightweight, and the adjustable hem and hood are a big plus. I thought the nightshade was more of a dark navy blue, but it's a charcoal color that I like even better. I'm 6'0", 170 pounds and I purchased a medium. For me, it's roomy enough to layer a hoody or Patagonia R1 underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight, warm and stylish Bought this as my winter coat for college. I go to college in connecticut and have to walk to class approximately 20min. in the winter 3 times a week. This coat is super effective for blocking wind and rain/snow and can be comfortably worn down to about 30 degrees with just a shirt underneath. When it gets really cold I put a fleece underneath and could probably take this baby to negative degrees easily. I really like how the coat is non-bulky and I can wear the thing through class if I want to, as it is comfortable and stylish. Awesome coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did they mean to name this jacket the Cat's Meow? I own several other brands of synthetic and down mid-layers and this tops them all! Arteryx has done a fantastic job of allowing you to keep the warmth in when it is needed without sacrificing performance when you have to get something done. Fitted sleeves, an adjustable draw cord around the waist and one amazing hood that fits perfectly over or under an Arteryx hard shell combine to give the Atom SV all the glory. Great athletic fit and colors make it a great standalone piece as well. If only I knew how to purr?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best investment ever I wear my Arc'Teryx hoodie for snowboarding and it keeps me plenty warm on the slopes of Colorado. If it is really cold and snowing, I will wear a cotton hoodie underneath, but then I start to sweat if I'm riding pow. I recently took it for an ascent of Longs Peak and it kept me really warm for the descent. I also use this hoodie for everyday wear and it feels and looks great. I'd definitely buy another one and recommend this hoodie to anyone out there. Also, fits true to size!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy 10 more if I could. This is my new go to jacket. It is hard to believe how warm this jacket is considering how little it weighs. I am 5'9" and 155 lbs and a medium fits just right. I live in San Francisco and it is perfect for those cold, foggy days. I have yet to test it in the rain, but not planning on using it as my rain coat. Construction is solid, as I have come to expect from ArcTeryx. To top it off, the jacket looks killer too. I would definitely buy another in different colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why Do I Even Own Other Coats? If I could comfortably pull this coat off in the summer, I would. I always thought there was no way a synthetic could stand up to some good down, but when it comes to versatility and warmth-weight ratio, this thing stands alone. Super lightweight, very packable for a non-down jacket, and it's slim cut while remaining warm. I use this to bike to work in negative temps and tend to overheat in anything but a merino T. From active to casual, this coat is it.
