The Arc'teryx Men's Argus Jacket is a lightly insulated jacket for high output skiing, running, and hiking. The cold weather can chill to the bone, but when you're active, overheating can also be an issue. The Argus comes to the rescue with Polartec Alpha synthetic insulation, keeping you warm while allowing your body to breathe. The insulation can be found at the front and the shoulders, where the wind and cold comes at you first. Coupled with Lumin, a nylon face fabric, it helps deter wind and light rain. The backpanel and underarms use a different fabric, called Torrent, to provide ventilation and stretch. The Torrent fabric will also wick moisture away from your skin and dry quickly for comfort as you heat up. The thumbloops cover your hands and keep sleeves where you want them, while retracting when not in use. A total of four pockets, two hand with zippers for item security, and two stretch stash pockets at the back for hat and gloves so you can wear 'em or shed 'em as needed. Zip up the front and speed off onto the trail or road while reflective blazes at the back and sleeves provide visibility in low light.
So sorry, but only 4 items are allowed for comparison, so we're comparing the first 4. I blame the gnomes and so should you.
