Chest / Bust - Measure around your chest / bust, holding the measuring tape under your armpit.

Waist - Measure around the natural waist, which is often the narrowest part of your waist.

Hip - Measure around your hips at the widest part.

Sleeve Length - With your arms in a slightly bent position, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist.

Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.

Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.

Hand Length - Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of the palm.

Hand Width - Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb.

• Please note that all the info provided above refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.

Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.

Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.

Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.

Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.

Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.

• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Fleece Gear I’ve just got this one. Man let me tell you that an Arcteryx Men’s Apache AR Zip is far superior than Arcteryx Cover Collar Zip.,,I’ve disagreed with Jeff for size up, unless you are willing tolerate w/ longer sleeve.,,That said, this one is the must have for Day Hiking, casual attire.,,,,,,Je viens de recevoir celui-ci.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from quality made for a guy named "stumpy" the apache would have been an excellent purchase... if i was 280 pounds with 18" arms!! as with most athletic type clothing the manufactures, in this case arcteryx, must agree that nobody over 6'2 can possiably be in physical shape and have arms longer than 18"!!
i guess what i was trying to say is. i am 6'4' 205 lbs and need length in my sleeves. which means i usually need to order xl for the extra inch or two. which also means extra overall size to the product that i don't need!
the apache was very well made as all arc. items i owne are.
the sleaves were too short!
wow... thanks i feel better
marty

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Considering turning into a cartoon character so I can wear this every day. I am very into all of Arc'teryx' technical stuff (Alpha SV, Beta AR pants, Arrakis 40 pack, and much more) but it's amazing that I can be just as excited for a fleece pullover. But just like all the other Arc'teryx pieces - the materials, construction and fit are unmatched. ,,This pullover is very casual, yet somehow simultaneously technical looking. I love the chest pocket and "protected elbows".,,The fit is much more athletic than it being listed "relaxed". Truth is, unless you're overweight... no one should be wearing baggy clothes. The fit on this is PERFECT. I can definitely see me getting this in more colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. What a fantastic product. It is warm when you need it to be warm, and relatively cool when you don't need to be roasting. It does a decent job blocking wind for a product not designed to do so. It fits perfect and has generated more than handful of "nice/sweet jacket" comments just over the last few weeks. It has proved just as good as the only layer over a t-shirt going to and from the gym on cold Chicago winter nights as it is under a shell for skiing and hiking. The zippers are easy and the pocket placement is great. Moosejaw was helpful in placing the order and I was able to pick it up on a few days later. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase and the overall experience

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, stylish and comfortable The Apache AR Zip is one of those garments that you could have a closet full of.,,It's comfortable, warm and well suited as a mid-layer, giving its versatility to 9 months out of the year in the PNW. It's easy to dress up with some slacks, or down with a pair of jeans, and I've taken mine from the mountains of the cascades to an evening out and been equally comfortable.,,,,It runs a touch small for layering, and will shrink a bit after washing, so be sure to consider that when ordering. ,,,,Arc'Teryx is hard to beat when it comes to functional and sharp looking clothes.,,Cheers, and happy adventures!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket with more warmth then you would expect. I bought this jacket a couple months ago for 2012 winter season. I use it as a casual all around jacket and it keeps me warm. It is fairly wind resistant. It also works great for a lounge jacket around the house for a little extra comfort. I have also used this jacket as a insulation layer while skiing with my Mountain Hard wear softshell over top and a t-shirt on under and I was almost too warm while skiing in 17 degreeish weather. As a jacket it works great, looks great, fits extremely comfortable...I am 6'2'' about 170lbs and the large fits perfect. I would defiantly recommend this for anyone. The chest pocket is a great accent piece as well and it holds my ipod classic just fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Buy it, bring a shell and enjoy the cozy warmth and versatility Purchased the Arcteryx Men's Apache AR Zip, color Sangria. First the color is not as red as I expected, rather an orange. Also, I have many size large Acteryx garments and therefore ordered a large: too big mostly in the neck. I've ordered a medium to see if that works. The pullover is extremely warm and on a cold and rainy day in the Appalcihans I was amazed how well it shed the light rain away and didn't soak through. Lightweight but very warm the Apache AR Zip is a good mid-layer choice under a shell on "cooler" days when moisture is prevelant. The breast pocket is a definate plus and the extra reinforced elbow "pads" are right where they should be. Other than a hefty price, I rec

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great versatile fleece I LOVE this fleece, it is super soft, warm, and stylish. I actually got two of them, copper and Habanero. I love the colors, feel, and warmth. Face fabric is soft and seems to be durable. The DWR finish is a nice touch, it helped the other day with a light rain. It layers pretty well (the cardigan works slightly better for layering IMO). But it is definitely something you can also wear around town. Is not wind proof by any means but definitely hold it's own against a breeze better than most fleeces. I'm wearing it as I write this, and I am so comfy!
