Chest / Bust - Measure around your chest / bust, holding the measuring tape under your armpit.

Waist - Measure around the natural waist, which is often the narrowest part of your waist.

Hip - Measure around your hips at the widest part.

Sleeve Length - With your arms in a slightly bent postion, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist.

Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.

Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.

Hand Length - Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of the palm.

Hand Width - Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb.

• Please note that all the info provided above refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.

Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.

Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.

Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.

Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.

Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.

• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great except for the fit For materials, style, color, and workmanship, this meets the usual expectations for Arc'teryx. I even own one because I like all of that so much. But the fit is off. I can't imagine another reviewer claiming that a Medium is perfect for his 5-11, 145 frame. I'm 5-10, 140 and find the Small too blousy. There's extra material in the body, extra material in the sleeves, and the sleeves are too long. I can make one work, which is why I bought one when I found a screaming deal, and I love the way it feels. But, in my opinion, this is in no way the "Trim" fit that Arc claims. The newer model just came out (2013) and is cut much better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Performance at its best! I am extremely satisfied by the quality materials used on this piece and the care to detail. The jacket is light and yet can keep you warm in temperatures down to about 45 F (if you are bulky as me and have slight fat layer, if you are skinny raise the temperature to about 55 F) The sleeves´ material is ideal for prevention the wind from entering or the warmth escaping. Also, in case of your finger getting cold, you can slide it down and that would help (a little) The Sleeve pocket is perfect for carrying my iPhone 4G (hopefully the iPhone 5 will remain about the same size) The material also is capable of handling a light rain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for exercise - also doubles as a great casual outer layer to wear on those briskey days. I exercise daily and wear this in the fall/winter/spring as my last layer for running outside. I'm out in the elements all the time (rain, snow, wind, ice, etc..) and the water resistant finish helps quite a bit, but will soak through in a downpour. If it's clean I also wear it as a light jacket and it's quite stylish. I'm 5'11, 145 - a lean build - a medium is perfect on me - running or relaxing. Well worth the price as it provides so many uses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best running jacket ever made Some of you may not like that it does not have slash pockets for the hands or a back pouch, but even without those it is the best jacket for the job. Why by ten jackets that sit at the back of the closet gathering dust? Get this one and get your money's worth.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Quality The jacket is quite fit even through not specified as slim fit and good for trial running or regular training
