The Arc’teryx Lunara 17 Bag is a messenger bag for travel, whether you’re taking a trip or just heading to work. The Arc’teryx N400r-AC2 fabric is durable and urethane coated for water resistance, so you can dash through the rain and get where you need to go. The main compartment has enough space for a 15 inch laptop with a retaining strap so it won’t be bouncing around as you move. Plenty of room left over for your lunch or an extra layer. Zip up your pens, phone, and wallet in the front pouch for quick access. The padded backpanel and shoulder strap make it comfortable to carry all the way through the airport. Secure the waistbelt to ensure it stays in one spot, or remove it when not in use.

DONT DO IT!Purchased this bag instead of the discontinued Mistral 16. That was a mistake. The Lunara is nothing more than a 2 pocket bag with a strap. Shoulder strap padding is horrible. The padding on the side of the bag that rest against your body is poor at best and shows wear after a couple uses. I really cant say anything good about it. I returned this bag and purchased the Mistral 16 which is pretty damn awesome. I suggest you do the samne while they are still available

Great for what it isI recently purchased this bag and am very glad I did. Awesome material, fantastic blue color - same as my Astri 19 pack, but this is a very basic and simple shoulder bag. I used it for the first time today, packing a change of clothes for myself and my two kids, my cased iPad and charger, a small toiletry kit, and there's a bit more room if I needed it. Interior is again white lined so it makes finding objects inside a breeze, which I think is a nice touch. It's just perfect for what I was wanting. Only drawback is the material on the backside. It doesn't appear like it will be very abrasion resistant, but I guess time will tell. I wish they woulda used the same material on the back as the Mistral bags, but it's no biggie; just my opinion. Still very pleased overall with this purchase, not like you can go wrong with Arcteryx engineering and quality. Thanks again, Moosejaw!

When Form meets FunctionI bought this for my wife who is attending part time Uni classes. It swallows everything she might ever need for her classes and then some. laptops, iPads, sweater, books, notes what have ya. She is pleasantly pleased that the interior is luminescent so its easy to dig up what she needs at the turn of a dime. The red is gorgeous and at 45, she feels hip enough to blend in :)
