The Arc'teryx Kitsilano Backpack is a school backpack for lugging your electronics and books around campus. The top loading pack opens via zipper and will secure a 15 inch laptop in the suspended and padded sleeve, as well as a tablet or e-reader in the second suspended sleeve. Your remaining texts or folders fit in line, but leave room for lunch, because brain food is super important. The front pocket is an organization station, for pens, keys, and other small accessories. The front stash pocket won't zip shut, but you can quickly slip a jacket, beanie, or gloves inside when in a hurry. Secure a water bottle or two in the side pockets, because hydration is cool. With everything secured inside the durable N500p nylon 6 plain weave fabric is durable and ready to withstand sitting on the floor during class, and it's also coated for weather resistance so you can take on rainy days.

ARC'TERYX MEASUREMENT GUIDE
How to Find Your Foot Measurements
Arc'teryx packs are sized either in 3-length options: Short (S), Regular (R) and Tall (T), or in 2-length options: Short/Regular (SR), and Regular/Tall (RT).
Sizing refers to YOUR OWN BACK LENGTH
Measure your Back:
• Measure along the spine between the 7th cervical vertebra and the level of the hip iliac crest
• Compare this measurement to the Sizing Charts
• It is possible to interchange different size shoulder strap and hipbelt components on many Arc'teryx Packs, but this will not change or affect the back-length of the pack.

COOL BEANSPerfect commuter bag for my needs. I hate over-built laptop style backpacks and I haven't found an Osprey I like yet.,,,,The bag suspended/padded laptop sleeve fits my 15" laptop with an extended battery. The opening of the bag is large enough to easily slip the laptop in and out of. I find on most bags is either a zipper that runs the entire perimeter of the bag (heavier, unneeded) or a zipper that doesn't open to a 180* plane.,,,,The middle compartment is perfect and has just enough smaller pockets without adding to much bulk. I can fit my mouse, charger, gloves, beanies, keys, sunglasses and stolen silverware from IHOP in there fine. The outer stretch compartment fits my hard/softshell.,,,,There are no sternum or waist straps, adding to the clean look. Bike commuters may want these. I like the simplified cut to this bag. Iron Anvil looks great.,,,,The bag is lightweight and pack-able, it goes to the bottom of my carry-on case fine. The shoulder straps are well articulated and comfy!

Good for men, not for womenI bought this backpack for myself and my husband has it now. The shoulder straps are not comfortable they kept pushing into my neck because they are one at the neck base. That said the quality of the pack is exceptional and it fitted everything you expect from a commute bag. Also the water bottle pack is tall enough to make sure you don't loose you bottle, very nice.
