The Arc'teryx Kea 30 Backpack is a daypack for your favorite 14'er. Whether you're hiking in a trail near home or hitting the mountains for a week of day hiking from base camp, the Kea 30 will lug all of your essentials. The main compartment clips in your hydration bladder, and stuffs lunch, snacks, and larger items along inside. The kangaroo pocket at the front has a full length zip, so you can open it wide to pull out your rain jacket or extra layer quickly. Headlamp and map fit in the top pocket so they don't fall and go missing in the bottom of the pack. Slide your axe into the slip pocket for protection and one-handed removal on-the-go.

ARC'TERYX MEASUREMENT GUIDE
How to Find Your Foot Measurements
Arc'teryx packs are sized either in 3-length options: Short (S), Regular (R) and Tall (T), or in 2-length options: Short/Regular (SR), and Regular/Tall (RT).
Sizing refers to YOUR OWN BACK LENGTH
Measure your Back:
• Measure along the spine between the 7th cervical vertebra and the level of the hip iliac crest
• Compare this measurement to the Sizing Charts
• It is possible to interchange different size shoulder strap and hipbelt components on many Arc'teryx Packs, but this will not change or affect the back-length of the pack.

This Backpack is fine, but could be better. My friend used to have a Kate 30 or 37 for his own use. I was told Kate is replaced by Kea. So I come here and have a try on this pack.,,I was looking for a pack for day hiking, late overnighting, and perhaps use as a luggage carry-on. What I found was one giant storage area, plus one kangaroo pocket, plus...Nothing! I used to hope it could help to carry more things when I use it for day travel. You know travel need my things, drinks, wallets, food, balabala.,,This pack is Hard enough for me to hold so much weight but not for many small things in travelling. Let us see.
