The Arc’teryx Jericho Backpack is the Mary Poppins of traveling packs. ARC'TERYX MEASUREMENT GUIDE
How to Find Your Foot Measurements
Arc'teryx packs are sized either in 3-length options: Short (S), Regular (R) and Tall (T), or in 2-length options: Short/Regular (SR), and Regular/Tall (RT).
Sizing refers to YOUR OWN BACK LENGTH
Measure your Back:
• Measure along the spine between the 7th cervical vertebra and the level of the hip iliac crest
• Compare this measurement to the Sizing Charts
• It is possible to interchange different size shoulder strap and hipbelt components on many Arc'teryx Packs, but this will not change or affect the back-length of the pack.

Good for traveling / Short trips.I got this pack because I was looking for something that could be used for airplane travel and for day/overnight hikes in a pinch. It's got a good size interior and plenty of divided spaces with multiple points of access (it's top-loading but there is a side zipper for the laptop sleeve.),,,,It's my go-to for airplane travel as it's really spacious and fits neatly in the overhead carry on bin. Straps are a little slender for long hikes, but it works for day hikes. Really nice dual purpose backpack. ,,,,My one complaint would be the clasp to keep the top on doesn't stay tight, but I've rarely had this bag at full capacity.

Thanks for reaching out to us! The Arc'teryx Jericho Backpack is water resistant, not waterproof, so eventually there will be a saturation point. You might want to highly consider using a rain cover. Several gear companies make them and the size you will need depends on how many liters your pack is. Personally, I also insert a trash compactor bag in my hiking/traveling pack to help keep my gear dry. I like the white verses black compactor bags because it's easier to see all your stuff! Hope this has helped you out!
