Let's get this out of the way - they are basic fleece gloves. However, they are probably the best designed and constructed basic fleece gloves. They fit well and the fleece is thick. What I really came to like about these gloves is the stretch cuff. It is long enough to ensure there is no gap between the gloves and your jacket. Further, the leather tabs are not some gimmick. The leather tabs make it really fast to get the gloves on, and they make sure the cuff elastic does not get all stretched out.
I use these gloves under a shell gloves while playing in the mountains. I also use them under my dry gloves SCUBA diving. So whether your under water or on top of the mountain (in the Pacific Northwest) these gloves do the trick!
