Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.

Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.

• Please note that all the info provided above refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.

Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.

Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.

Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.

Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.

Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.

• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product for people with small heads I bought this hat for my better half after reading reviews that it fit "snug". She's one of the people that made the OSFA change to OSFM. Got the hat and it actually fit her noggin. No way it would fit my alien head, but fits hers just fine. A great relief to both of us because finding a knit cap that fit was just about futile after trying all the outdoor stores around here. ,,,,The only thing I could see to make this one better would be to have the fleece liner, which goes around the ear area, cover the inside of the hat completely. I have a Broner hat like that and love it, but haven't ever found one like it since.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from WARM hat I've been using this hat for some time now, backcountry skiing/snowboarding. I'll say one thing about this hat: it's extremely warm, so warm I had to purchase a different hat to wear for my more rigorous outdoor activities because it cause me to sweat in anything but the most bitter cold conditions. I would not recommend this hat for extremely physical activities in temps above 0 degrees because it'll cause you to sweat. For non-physical activities it's perfect in just about all condtions. The wool is comfortable and doesn't cause itching/scratching. Due to the weave of the fiber, snow does not easily cake on the hat either. If you're looking for warm - you've found it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from pretty decent hat I am a girl, and apparently I have a big head because I usually have to wear the larger size in hats. It must be because I have a huge brain. Anyway, the hat is kinda snug on me and I don't think I could deal with wearing it for a few hours because it'd drive me nuts. But for walking across a giant parking lot to my car, it does the job. I have the "tusk" color, and it's a little more yellow/cream-ish than the picture shows. I like the fleece lining around the bottom inside. Keeps your ears warm.,,All in all, decent hat, a little snug, not terribly interesting, but I got it for free so I can't complain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the right amount of warmth This is now my second classic beanie from Arc'teryx. I've worn mine through intense winters in various places throughout the US doing all sorts of things, skiing, backpacking, running, you name it. It has just the right amount of material, keeping you warm while you are active or taking a break (if you are a pansy). It is a bit pricey for a beanie, but it'll last forever and it is extremely comfortable. It fits my bald noggin perfectly. If you're having problems with the fit, then I suggest shaving your head and working for Uncle Sam, its a good time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from For the love of god, read the washing instructions. When I ordered this hat, I thought: "Hey great, a fleece lined boggin' that's going to be top quality cuz it's made by these guys." When it arrived, I exclaimed, "Holy crap, my head is huge!" Except that it's not, my hat size is 7 1/2. I've got a big head sure, but it's not ear- lobes-hanging-out-the-bottom-of-my-hat big. I wore it anyway, enough to get it dirty, in fact. I put a hat in the washer and pulled out a Yamika. Be careful with this thing. It's warm enough, I just wish the bucket were bigger... or my head were smaller.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job, comfy to wear over extended periods I purchased this in iron anvil and it coordinates well with my arc'teryx jackets. When looking back, I think I should have gotten a more subtle beanie (love the arc'teryx quality, so I'm brand loyal), so I don't feel like a walking billboard. The fleece liner is nice and I haven't had this snag on anything, so the quality seems good. My only complaint (probably true of most beanies), is that it doesn't cover my ears enough. I don't have massive ear lobes, but on a windy day coverage matters and this wouldn't be my go to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Yes, I would recommend this to a friend As far as beanies can go this piece performs up to your expectations from arcteryx.,,Pros:,,*This piece will keep your head warm, I guarantee it,,*Toque fit allows you to pull the beanie down to cover your entire ear,,*Thin construction allows this to fit very well under any helmet,,*Superb craftsmanship,,Cons:,,*If you are sensitive to wool this will make your head itch,,*You may feel like an Arc'Teryx billboard at times. (can be a pro),,Overall I would recommend this piece to anyone wanting serious warmth and function.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, Comfortable, Looks great The Arcteryx hat is all I need here in Norway unless it drops well below zero. The merino wool is quite soft, but the fleece lining around the ears makes it extremely comfortable in addition. It's very light but I can't imagine needing anything heavier. The fit is perfect for my average-sized cranium - covers my ears completely. Looks great - mine is coffee bean. It's really not that much more than TNF or other similar brands. Go with this one if you can spare an extra $5-$10.
