"Small, but durable" 10/19/12
I use it regularly for gym climbing, so the size doesn't really bother me. In fact, I'm happy to have a smaller bag, as it's less to carry. It's probably inconveniently small, however, for outdoor climbing days, in which case you can just look at the larger size of this same bag. Anyway, it's been great so far, and doesn't spit out puffs of chalk dust when I close it up like my last bag did. Closes up tight – just what I was looking for. Side note, I have pretty large hands for a female and haven't found myself having to grapple with the bag when chalking.

This chalk back is the best looking chalkbag i've owned, also the most expensive. For the price, I expected more, It's small and easy to put on. Not good for long routs because it doesn't hold a lot of chalk; also they should put a thing to hold the remaining belt, i have to put tape on it to hold it together like the mammut chalk bag.

It is a very expensive chalk bag and the design make it easy to grab some chalk. The thing that I didnt like was that it is too small and you will run out of chalk fast. Also you will trow a lot of chalk to the floor because the same thing that make your job easier make the job easier for the chalk to come out of the bag. Still the best looking chalk bag out there
"Destroyed it in about 6 months, and that was almost all indoors." 01/21/12
It was good while it lasted- but it went away fast. The eyelet for the cord closure ripped out after 6 months or so of use, and after that it just doesn't close quite the same. I felt bad for my belayer the few times I used it after that. Nothing like a fine dusting because of suck equipment!I still have it though. Not sure why...
"Small and feels cheap" 12/08/11
I returned it and went with the next size up. I dont have huge hands and this bag was too small for my hand and a chalk sock. also the logo looks like its ironed on and its not sewn like the other sizes. I know its splitting hairs but when its arcteryx I think it should feel above and beyond in the quality materials department. I highly recommend the next size up! ps the buckle is really nice, it just clicks quite nicely

The quality is definitely worth the little extra cost. Toothbrush holder is really helpful (much like the bottle opener), and the adjustable belt does a great job. Fleece lining helps keep the ambient chalk dust to breathable levels. In addition to all the nifty features, this bag comes in great colors and has a sleek design. The only thing more I could ask for is the addition of a zipper pocket like the one available on the larger size to use for tape and what not. (Note: I'm a light chalk user and find that the bag hold more than enough.)

This bag is great for any level of climber. I have "average" size hands and I haven't had a problem fitting them in the bag. The waist strap is comfortable and you know it will be durable (can't go wrong with arcteryx). It's slightly more expensive but well worth the extra loot.

I mean it holds chalk. IT is expensive but for the minimalist it is awesome. If only it had a pocket like the large model it would be perfect. Then again I never travel light. IT is a great bag and guaranteed for life through Arc'Teryx. Get one.
"Legit Chalk Bag" 11/18/10
I have only been climbing 6 months and this is my first chalk bag but I love it. It does it's job and keeps the chalk in the bag. I really like the adjustable belt that comes with it. I usually just keep a chalk ball in it and that fits perfectly in it so when i tighten the draw string no chalk escapes.
