This is a great idea...but for me it is a touch on the small side and doesn't cover my ears fully. Otherwise, it would be perfect.

Perfect under a mtn. bike helmet when it's really cold or by itself on a winter run. The top is thin and the fleece over the ears keeps 'em warm and also keeps ears from flapping in the wind.
