The Bora 95 Pack by Arcteryx is designed for monster loads and grand ambitions. Urethane coated fabric and WaterTight zippers help keep expedition supplies dry. Well-ordered gear space and the plushest thermoformed suspension saves both strength and sanity.

"The Pack that Holds Everything!" 04/18/13

If you need a pack that will hold over 80lbs of gear, stand the test of time, AND be ultra-comfortable during those long hikes look no further! I'm 6'2" and 190lbs and this backpack can hold my entire upper body in the main compartment! The extra features (like watertight zippers) are just icing on the cake. Well worth the money.

"Amazing backpack that will not let you down!" 04/07/13

This backpack is MASSIVE! If you need a pack that can carry all the gear needed for an extended trip, look no further. Its water resistant (with waterproof zippers), compacts down if you don't want to use the full 95L, has additional attachment points for external gear, and the top lid can be used as a daypack that holds a 2L hydration bladder and that's only the beginning! Well worth the money.

"This thing is really big" 12/16/12

This is big for a 95L. I'm only 150 lbs and I carried 90lbs in it on a 4 day approach on Aconcagua, including vertical ice gear. It was not comfortable, but if there is a pack that can make 90 lbs comfortable show me. I was amazed that as i was loading up my 17 days worth of food and mountaineering gear there was still some room for it all. Two other guys in my party had the 95L too and were were able to do it with no pack animal assistance. It is burly too, I have been using it on other trips since and it has needed minimal repairs. It's heavy but if you are warranting this pack then i assure you that you will not notice the weight difference.

"Best pack I've seen" 05/03/12

Love mine. The fabric’s durable & held up well to 2 months worth of scooting, slipping, & falling all over rough granite & scree slopes this winter; seemed to retain its water-resistance, too. Its zippers are stout, & it's got a side-access pocket to the main compartment that eliminates the need to pull everything out to get to something at the bottom. The sleeping bag compartment is easy to use, the back & top pockets give good access to things you need, & the waist & shoulder pads are super-comfortable. My only complaint is the clip design - I've had trouble with clips coming free, both for the waist belt & top compartment. The problem seems unique to my bag - my buddy's never had issues.

"The best pack ever!!" 11/13/11

I bought this Arcteryx Bora 95 pack in black for husband for Christmas last year, and he said that hands down, it's the best pack he has ever purchased (and he has about 20 packs in our gear room right now)!!! I know it's on the expensive side, but it's worth every penny! My husband and I took our Arcteryx packs to California to climb Mt Conness in Tuolomne National Park, and the pack seems bottomless! You can keep on piling in the stuff, and there is still an enormous amount of room! The hip belt is nicely padded, so it feels great on your hips when your carrying a 70 lb load. It's a beast! It's incredibly durable! We love Arcteryx!!!

"Can fit anything you need it to. Heavy, but if your going for light don't by a 95L pack ya dumb." 07/28/11

Preformed better then any pack I have ever owned. This is my 4th pack and I am pissed I ever bought anything else. It compresses enough to be good for a weekend, but you can keep shoving stuff in it to be great for a 30 day trip. I use it for both and will never use anything different. The design is great because there is not much that can break on the pack. The water proof zippers are a great idea, a pack cover is not really needed unless your walking through a monsoon. The pack itself is heavy but that is expected, so just throw out the person items you do not need and it is well worth it. Will never by a different pack.

"Really, really, really big bag." 02/27/11

So this bag is freaking huge, and I love it. Yes its a little heavy but come on its big, its burly, this thing will be around long after you are dust. I'm 5' 7" and the short adjusts great for me. I guess it really depends on your back length though so make sure you measure that. bag has great details like the bottle holders actually hold bottles when you cinch down the compression straps. Easy in easy out. Side zip is great for getting in bag without undoing top. handles loads like no other 60 pounds plus no problem. Pretty much this bag is great Iv have enjoyed using it and will for years to come.

"I love this pack" 01/04/11

I've beat this thing up in more ways than one could imagine and have seen little to no wear. Extremely durable pack, with smart features and love the padding on the hip belt. Only complaint (and it is a small one) is that the integrated gear loop snapped off on my very first foray into the woods). Given the amount of abuse, I'm pretty psyched that this is the only damage it has sustained.

"Exceptional Quality and Comfort" 12/13/10

Bought two of these, one for me and one for the wife. We used the ArcTerex web site to size the bags and then followed their instructions for balancing load. The setup for me was quite easy (male) heavily loaded, my wife took a little more work to get hers balanced just right with a lighter load. For my dollars the qualty is exceptional.

"Huge backpack great at swallowing gear and hauling big loads, but the details are a downer." 11/08/10

So far I've been throwing weight in this pack and using it to train for an upcoming expedition. This weekend I took it to Rainier. So, here's my big gripe: the "removable" suspension.. Yes, it's removable, but you might not be able to get it back in. My friend and I spent a combined 30 mins trying to put it back in with no luck, and I ended up having to haul camp down from 9,000 ft to Paradise with no freaking suspension. Yeah, I survived...it wasn't really that bad in the grand scheme of life. But I was definitely cranky about having to carry the suspension INSIDE my backpack.I finally got the suspension back in at home by using a coat hanger to hold down the inside stitching...

"When they said huge, they weren't kidding!" 10/09/10

This bag can fit a TON! I am 5'4" and usually on the small side of a small size bag. I had SO much trouble finding a large enough pack with a harness system that would still fit and this one fit my very difficult criteria. When it arrived, I took it to be fitted and now it's the perfect pack! I have enough room for very, very extended trips and it has a huge amount of space while still fitting my small frame (and tiny torso) and still being comfortable.
