"Best Pack Around, super adjustable and rides like a cady!"  01/03/12

Bought this after a lot of looking around and comparing, I am super happy that i got this one. The Pack it's self is a sweet blue but what is cool is the inside its a yellow green and allows you to find everything super fast. This pack is like a black hole you can just keep packing this thing up and it will still take more, also it rides on your back like it's not even there. You can adjust the straps a lot and make it fit to your body make sure you look up how to size a pack or go to a shop that can size you so you know to get the regular or the tall. The side access to the pack is great you can to your stuff without unpacking the whole bag.

"Bad Ass Pack"  12/26/11

I moved from my NorthFace expedition pack to this sleek Bora. 5 stars on ease of packing, even if you're a slob it packs well. 5 stars on zippers and strings; no way in getting an error from the zipper or straps. I'd given it all 5 stars across the board, but 4 stars on the shoulder harner and the plastic attachment on the back of my head (which was totally useless? what were you thinking? a piece of half dome plactic behind my head???).

"The best pack ever!!"  11/13/11

I had a North Face pack that I loved forever, but it got a hole in it, so I was searching for the perfect pack. My husband absolutely loves his Arcteryx Bora 95 pack, so I thought I would try the Bora 80. I wanted something a little smaller than his because we thought that we both didn't need two huge packs! After using this Bora 80 pack, I will never buy any brand other than Arcteryx for a pack. It fits all of my grear and then some, and I can be rough with it on the hiking trail, and it still looks brand new! My hips get sore with other packs, but not with this one thanks to the great padding on the hip belt!

"Excellent multi-day pack."  11/13/11

Internals:80L w/ room to expand (90-92L). Tall, narrow frame. Sleeping bag comp. has large, useful opening; side zipper is handy and well positioned. Vertical zippered pocket on the outside face is open at the top, the space functions as a division of main compartment. Externals: Good lash points for gear. Super strong material and construction. Bottom Line: excellent multi-day pack. Holds a ton and carries really well. Since no one's perfect: Waist belt may need a bit of breaking in (esp. for summer months w/ light clothes), and not a pack that can really be stripped down. It compresses well, but is built for all the parts to be working together.

"Good backpack for medium to long hikes"  11/09/11

This is an excellent product which will take all the load one needs for a good two week tented hike. Its very durable, I have used it on at least five hikes so far and there is not a single damage to the cloth even though I have not been careful and instead treated it quite badly at times. It doesnt have alot of different compartments like some backbacks do but if you, like me, use smaller back bags that are waterproof to put sleeping bags and clothes in, what you need is just a big bulk, not alot of small compartments. The Bora has just this, huge cargo space. Its very comfortable to carry. Cheap for what you get I would say.

"Great pack, very comfortable"  07/08/11

I bought this pack for a trip to New Zealand and just love it. It is comfortable, easily adjustable, and has plenty of space for my gear. Got wet a couple of times but dried out super quick and didn't allow much moisture inside the bag.

"Top End Backpack"  06/11/11

The quality of the backpack even though Arcteryx make these bags in China now it is still of the highest standard. I am very happy with the amount of features this bag provides. Although it isn't the lightest pack it sure is comfortable to carry even with 27kg of gear in the bag it felt like it was halved. I found the bright orange lining inside very helpful when searching for gear inside the rucksack (its like looking down a rabbit hole) as its such a big bag. It is only water resistant so you will need to purchase a separate rain cover. I found the medium harness to be a little stiff but I'm hoping it will soften up after further use.

"Jumbo stylin' snazy pack"  04/17/11

I have several packs, this one being the largest. Mine is from several seasons back, I was fortunate to get the last one in the store that was the 2004 (i think) season that was still made in Canada. Bomber fabric, bomber waist belt, everything about the design and build of this pack is bullet proof, all the buckles are in working order still. As far as how it actually functions in the field, I think it is perfect i would change nothing. The water bottle pockets are in the right place... i can open the lid if have to when the pack is one, the side entry zipper is handy at times. if you load it right it'll be plenty comfortable.great pack.

"This pack is awesome!"  02/14/11

I had the Argon 110 and realized that it was too big for the trips I was taking so I invested in this pack. You can't go wrong with it. It's built like a tank, is very comfortable and will fit everything you need. I wish I had purchased this one in the first place. It doesn't have a bunch of confusing straps and pockets where you lose things. It's extremely user friendly and a great all-round pack.
