"Arc'teryx Bora 50 Backpack's neomujot" 02/06/10
Look at the arc design and practical backpack is obvious that this is a good backpacking bag is chic Mare pomdonago I pitch. Heoribaeldeu systems are too comfortable and too good to fit the number of backpackers, but just the price we will use the ship romance Little missiles, but is worth it should miteouisimchi forest
"Awesome FULL featured pack" 01/26/10
I have owned a Bora 40 previously and purchased this Bora 50 as a replacement. The constructions is awesome. Design has been the same for a few years now, just upgraded and refined in it's detail. Materials are great, looks to be pretty tough and weather resistant. The suspension system is simply awesome. Great for carrying up to about 15-20kg.I feel the actual weight of the pack itself is a little on the heavy side, but it does have lots for features. The pack is now made in the Asia somewhere instead of Canada. Only time will tell if the change in manufacturing has made a difference to quality and longevity.
"Great for backpacking / Very good quality" 12/24/09
Quality: very good !Weight: not the lightestFeatures: everything you need for 1 weekend (hard winter) or 1 week (summer) trip.Functionality: almost perfect, you can access the main room only from the top, no side or bottom zipper.Best use: general backpacking, approach to base camp (mountaineering).
"I'd consider another pack" 03/28/09
Arc'teryx usually puts a lot of thought and forsight into their products but this pack leaves much to be desired. The back cushion is far to firm and unyielding, the padding on the shoulder straps doesn't come down nearly far enough causing painful pressure on the pecs and the elastic chest strap is so stretchy it doesn't do the job. Too many useless zippers and hiding spots(adds too much weight) and the hip belt adjusters are backwards. My 2 cents.
"It is a great pack for 1 to 4 day hikes if you don't bring too much." 07/07/08
I like the great workmanship as well as the superior material. It does not have an adjustment for length so if S M L don't fit, don't buy. If you pack it to the max, the sides of the top cover are to short. The outside pocket could be a little deeper. Comfortable with 14 KG on an all day hike but you need to be a minimalist!
"Call a vet because this puppy is sick!" 05/11/08
this pack is outstanding. i use it for long day hikes and overnighters. im even going to try to pack for a five day appalaichan trail hike in this since i just got a new solo tent. it held everything i needed for a two day winter outing- freezed dried, tent,. sleeping bag, clothes, and a bunch of misc gear. plus its waterproof too.
"Get the Bora 65 which has all the features of the Bora 80" 11/27/07
While it looks like a miniature version of the Bora 80 and is made of the same quality, it lacks all of the features that make the 80 a great pack, namely the side entrance zipper and a separate compartment for the sleeping bag. I was looking for a pack that would carry several days worth of supplies. While it may have the capacity, it does not have the desired features.
"great pack" 11/21/07
I ordered a mercury one and this pack didn't disapoint me. You can always trust arc'teryx because their products are top line. Compare to the old bora 50, the new bora 50 looks not as tough as use to be, but i believe the fabric is still very sturdy. The suspension system is very comfortable. I love all the details. This is a pack you can use for decades.
"Awesome durable pack worth every penny." 06/08/07
Extremely well made pack. Holds and distributes a big load really well. Fabric is bomb-proof. All zippers and seams are very strong/durable. Overall awesome pack... Kept all my gear and clothes dry in a downpour without a raincover.
