The Arc'teryx Blade 24 Pack is a laptop backpack for business travel. The Blade 24 is the medium sized bag of the bunch, boasting 24 liters of space for electronics and important documents. The laptop compartment fits up to a 15 inch machine, lays against the back panel for padding, and the slot is suspended so it won't rest on the ground when setting the bag down before your flight boards. A power cord fits nicely in the same pocket, on the opposite side of the laptop sleeve. The main compartment secures an extra layer, a book or e-reader for down time, and a bottle of water. The top padded sleeve is fleece lined, I typically shove my shades in there for protection, but I bet my phone would love to take a nap in there as well. A front pocket boasts organization, with pen slots, a clip for your keys, and a slot for your wallet. The bag uses an HDPE framesheet and aluminum stays for rigidity in the back panel to spread out the weight for a strong, even carry. The dual-density shoulder straps are cushy and comfortable while running to your next plane. The best part about the bag is the secret pocket at the back panel, for your passport and boarding pass. It makes me feel like a stealthy secret agent.

Arc'teryx packs are sized either in 3-length options: Short (S), Regular (R) and Tall (T), or in 2-length options: Short/Regular (SR), and Regular/Tall (RT).
Sizing refers to YOUR OWN BACK LENGTH
Measure your Back:
• Measure along the spine between the 7th cervical vertebra and the level of the hip iliac crest
• Compare this measurement to the Sizing Charts
• It is possible to interchange different size shoulder strap and hipbelt components on many Arc'teryx Packs, but this will not change or affect the back-length of the pack.

Very clean design. The Blade 24 Pack is very clean and designed specifically for business (in my opinion). There are no extra straps and pouches all over the place so it looks nice. I only use the pack for my computer and accessories. I wish the large non-computer compartment would open up like it's big brother (Blade 30 Pack) but it will no. Everything is very functional from the pen compartment in the front to the security pocket at the bottom. The best thing is how it fits on the back. Easy to adjust straps make getting on and snugging it up very easy. The look and color is great. One of a kind in the market, well worth the money.

Outdoor serious construction meets the indoor rigors of capitalism.I fly weekly for work and need an office on my back. Arc'Teryx Blade 24 is a streamlined operation with exceptional padding in straps and frame. I love this vertical bag is designed for horizontal access. The bright contrast lining makes my quest for power cords a breeze. Plus, it is easy to slide out my laptop for TSA.,,,,When completely packed, the load is sublimely balanced with a sleek profile. Construction is hardcore. I do not look like a pack animal trekking through the airport and I feel completely professional carrying this into any meeting. ,,,,This laptop bag keeps me connected, agile and stylish.

Great business, not great day packThis is an excellent business briefcase-like pack - solid, sleek. plenty of pockets and great construction. However it is a relatively poor day-pack - no chest or waist strap nor any way to attach one. If you are traveling and have a fairly large laptop and other supplies in this, you will feel it in the small of your back pretty quickly. Between riding a motorcycle to work and going light internationally, I need some way to adjust the load better. I am returning this and getting the North Face Surge instead.

This bag is all about function, comfort, and looks. This pack is just awesome! The laptop sleeve is adjustable to fit a 15" laptop. The fabric inside the backpack is red so there is background contrast when trying to find items inside. The back of the backpack is contoured to fit against your back. The top pocket is big enough to fit a bottled water with no problem. This pack can be carried on your back or sideways as a briefcase. Arcteryx quality, definitely built to last.,,

Horrible School Backpack (or at least for me)I like how they tried to keep a sleek clean look, but it effected the functionality of the pack. It CAN'T FIT ANYTHING! If you're a student like me and you carry around notebooks, a computer, possible textbooks, and a tablet DON'T GET THIS BAG! I would recommend the larger blade 30. Here's an idea of what it can fit and remove without a problem 3 notebooks (not binders), 1 15" macbook (with charger), ipad, and a couple of pens. It does get pretty aggravting turning it on it's side everyday to remove something. The hard protection backplate becomes more of a problem than a protector for the computer. I do love the safety/secret pock right behind the shoulder straps. I wish I would've purchased the Blade 30 because Arcteryx really makes great stuff, but I feel as if they dropped the ball with this one. IF YOU'RE DOUBTING THE SIZE GET THE BIGGER ONE! ,,,,sorry for using the caps, just trying to illustrate my point

Looks professional but knows how to party. Like what every mullet ever wants to be.This is a travel/office bag. Not a day pack not a backpacking backpack. It's one awesome travel/office bag. Just went on a trip to Brussels, Belgium with this pack as my carry on. Fit easily under the seat. So this could have easily been my personal item on the plane (Delta airlines Airbus A330-300).The contrasting interior liner is fantastic for actually seeing what is inside your bag instead of fishing around in a dark cave. The pocket in the hugging your back on the back pack works so well for passports and boarding passes it's crazy. You can access it while walking really easily by taking off the left shoulder strap.,,,,I use this primarily as my to and from the office bag though. Laptops AND Tablets fit with ease. Heck a 4, 32oz Nalgene's fits with ease. I bet if you had one of those really small dogs they would never want to come out of this thing it's so deceptively roomy. Plus it's Arc' Teryx. So you look like a BAMF using it.
