"very warm and windproof" 01/25/12
I purchased this beanie in an attempt to find an all weather cap that would keep me plenty warm whens its cold but breath well when its a bit warmer. This is it! Instead of having 3 or 4 different caps to use depending on the weather, this is working well all around. Great product from a great company.
"Very tight, very warm" 01/21/12
It's super tight, I wear a 7 1/4" hat, and it always feels really snug. This is a problem with some pairs of shades or glasses, as you kind of have to make room for the arms. That said, the dual layer of the hat works AWESOMELY. Never have had a problem with my dome being cold when I wear this- and that's included some long days of mostly just standing around in freezing weather.

She loves it! It is warm and soft - definitely does not feel bulky or itchy. It is a snug fit and no not because her head is big... The hair will most definitely get messed up =-) but it will not be sweaty.

I like this hat but for the price I wish it was made of thicker material to keep my head warm. I havent decided yet if is does any better or worse than my TNF hat which seems to be thicker. It is comfortable though in case you have problems with itchy skull caps.

it is a well built hat, warm and comfortable, but is kinda expensive for a beanie. the reason i paid the steep price for this hat is because it just fit so well. i wear a 7-7.25 baseball hat, and a have pretty big ears. this hat has a fleece ear band inside and it covers my whole ear, usually my earlobes hang out the bottom. not the case with this hat.

Bones are sweet as it is. Along with birds, beanies, and the Arc'teryx brand, and you if you bought this hat. Very comfortable and is my choice out of the bunch. I wear it to campus, shredding, hiking, even during funerals (not really). The color selection is cool and it also washes without problems. I've owned mine for a harsh year and it survived last winter of daily use. Can't go wrong, unless your head is the size of an award winning pumpkin.
"Great Beanie with One Very Small Downside." 10/06/11
I got this beanie a few weeks ago, and I absolutely love it! It is very soft and warm on the inside, lightweight, and does its job well. I do have a bit of criticism though. The fleece lining on the inside stops short of the opening ("bottom") of the beanie by about 1cm. The rest of it is the same material as the outside (Merino Wool). This does cause a (very very) slight scratchiness problem on the back of your neck. To be fair, I have a baby-sized head, so it might not be a problem for you. However, despite the small irritation, this is still a killer beanie and is my go-to for most cool weather trips. Buy it!
