The Arc'teryx Alpha FL 45 Pack is an ultralight backpack for rock, ice or alpine climbing. The N400r-AC² nylon 6 ripstop fabric is durable, light and weather-resistant so it can take a beating on your next adventure. A coating on both sides of the fabric and taped seams increase the water-resistance. The RollTop closure keeps gear dry and secure and extends for extra gear. An easy to use drawcord provides additional protection when not utilizing the full volume. Small items can be tossed into the front zippered pocket for quick access and to prevent loosing them to the bottom of the bag. The bungee provides a spot to lash your crampons and ice axes to the outside while protecting your other gear.

ARC'TERYX MEASUREMENT GUIDE
How to Find Your Foot Measurements
Arc'teryx packs are sized either in 3-length options: Short (S), Regular (R) and Tall (T), or in 2-length options: Short/Regular (SR), and Regular/Tall (RT).
Sizing refers to YOUR OWN BACK LENGTH
Measure your Back:
• Measure along the spine between the 7th cervical vertebra and the level of the hip iliac crest
• Compare this measurement to the Sizing Charts
• It is possible to interchange different size shoulder strap and hipbelt components on many Arc'teryx Packs, but this will not change or affect the back-length of the pack.

This pack rocks!WHAT I LIKE:,,Light weight - tough material - surprisingly comfortable - ingenious ice axe holders - ingenious tie down tabs - one handed open/close draw string system - waterproof - high visibility - sealed seams and zipper - holds a lot for a small pack - SEEMS MINIMAL BUT SOMEHOW DOES IT ALL.,,,,WAYS TO IMPROVE THIS PACK TO SUIT ME BETTER:,,Three inch longer chest strap (I'm a big guy) - removable shoulder and waist straps for hauling - flip the top tie down strap attachment to the back so the excess doesn't hang down between your back and the pack if you forget to clip it over the top.,,,,(I wrote a much more detailed review on the Arcteryx website. Check it out!)

Awesome.Awesome pack. Waterproof, light, streamlined but still pretty comfortable. Highly recommend it. Use it for alpine etc. Takes a beating if you try and use it as a crag pack, but still very durable.
