Light and super slick - wait, I mean grippy?Nice shoes. Toe box is well-built and offers plenty of space. They easily handle moderate to technical trails traversing across rock and roots alike while not being so knobby (naughty?) that they discourage the mad dash for some eats afterward. If you're a heal striker, don't buy these shoes. Well, you can, but you may not like them. They're very light and, with that zero drop 'n all, will sTrOnGlY encourage you to adjust your stride. I like these shoes. You might, too.
Criticism? No funky color options.

Great Shoe, SIZE UP!!!I love this shoe, the lugs are deep and the tread is very aggressive, perfect on the slick clay and rocks around me in Southern Illinois and Missouri. I like the zero drop because it allows me to run and walk in a more natural stride and the added cushion of the shoe makes them perfect for carrying a heavy pack. I love all of the features that this shoe offers, it is very well designed, I love the gaiter catch on the heel, you'd never notice it if you didn't use it but it matches perfectly with my outdoor research sparkplug running gaiters. All of that being said there are a few things that meed mentioned which prevent me from giving it 5 stars. The sizing is small, I usually wear a size 13 but in this I am a size 14. The sidewall material seems just a little thin, I have seen cases of the sides busting out every once in a while so I shoe goo'd the sides to try and keep that from happening but be warned. Finally the heel flipper probably has a purpose but it is annoying and will probably be getting a short haircut with a razor blade before they make me trip and fall down the side of a mountain on my section hike in the smokey's this summer. otherwise I love the grip, fit after adjustment. and looks of this shoe so I'm still looking forward to putting a couple hundred miles on them before they're done.

Might be FineMight be a fine shoe. i was attracted by the zero drop and wanted to try them, however the toe-box is far to low for my particular feet. My big toe pokes up through the top. I have the same issue with most Hoka's. I send mine back... Moosejaw said my first review didn't pass mustard, so hopefully this is more like ketchup?

Greatest shoes I've ever ownedI cannot say enough good things about this shoe. Good in any and all conditions ... My only complaint is the sizing ... I normally wear an 11.5 in this shoe I wear a 12.5 so I would size up on solid side for a larger foot... Aside from that this shoe makes me about as happy as a unicorn at a rainbow competition!!!

Best shoes everI've had 2 pair of Superior's and can't say enough about them. Most comfortable shoe I've worn. Durability could be improved, but not bad.
