Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would Recommend for Back Country, with a few tweaks to suit your environtment I have had this product for over a month now, and have owned a previous one. It is a great kit that is well rounded to typical first aid needs. I tweak mine whenever I go out, depending on the situation. When backcountry trekking, I bring a QuikClot for big emergencies and maybe an extra Foot Medic kit from them as well. It all fits in one bag, best part! Have tested the water proof; floats pretty well, and everything stays dry! All and all, i would recommend, just tweak it to really make it your own

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "Hamboning will save your life one day." While down on the bayou in a self made kayak (made from elephant ear leaves) an alligator shot up out of no where from under my craft and suddenly I was in hand to hand combat trying to keep the beast off of me. After nearly losing an arm, I was able to finally subdue the creature. At which point he gave me a lift back to shore, and I was able to use the Adventure Medical Kits Ultralight and Watertight .7 Kit to reattach my nearly dismembered arm. Try that with any other medical kit.,,,,OK, none of this happened, but the kit is very complete and lightweight. Met my needs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice basic first aid kit if you don't want to build your own. I've had experience with several of these ready-made first aid kits. I bought the smallest one to throw in my snowboard pack in case of emergencies. One thing I did notice is that everything fits very tightly inside the waterproof pouch inside. If you take stuff out, it's hard to get everything to fit in there nicely again. The tight fit also makes it difficult to add some additional things (i.e. nitrile gloves) to customize. For kits this small, you may be better off buying a waterproof pouch and building your own to make sure you're maximizing the small footprint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight Must Have Product The Adventure Medical Kit Ultralight .7 Kit is very lightweight and waterproof. I luckily haven't run into an emergency on the trail yet, but I religiously use the moleskin and have used the Ibuprofen and band aides occasionally. ,,,,I have even used the anti bite cream which works surprisingly well! I had some nasty mosquito bites on my hand that caused it to swell up and the cream reduced the swelling significantly. ,,,,The nice thing about this kit, is there is extra room int he waterproof bag so you can add your own items (cough drops, allergy meds, etc.). ,,,,You can also reorder items that you have used up from the manufacturer, which is pretty cool. There is a list of all the contents of the kit on the outside of the bag.,,,,This is a must have for hikers/backpackers. You never know when you will need it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good to have They cram a lot of stuff into this small pouch which is nice. My only problem i had is that the outer pouch got a small tear in it after only a couple of uses, that and the fact that buying this jinxed me. First trip out with this i my knee got messed up and needed to use the bandage to hold it together and my buddys new boots decided to detach themselves from the sole after only two days hiking, so that duct tape was put to immediate use as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best lightweight medical kit on the market I use this on the AT trail and have never needed much more than what was offered in this kit. This pack it comes in is durable and has withstood 3 seasons of serious backcountry use. It includes everything you would need to do your basic backcountry medical treatments. Also includes some duct tape for some impromptu gear repair if necessary. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from "I just saved your life" - AMK Ultralight and Watertight .7 Kit This kit is put together well. It really has everything I could think of and then some. Bought a new tent and never invested in a med kit (until now). If you don't have one and are contemplating whether or not to get one...... GET ONE!!! I must say that this is great for all the lazy people that don't just want to throw a bunch of supplies in a baggy (like me). Well worth the cash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Kit In addition to the abundance of bandages the kit includes, it also provides antihistamines, aspirin, ibuprofen, gloves and duct tape! The pouch is super light and keeps dry. Also, weight can be shed from the kit because you won't need to carry duplicates for a short trip. The addition of the moleskin came in handy as well. Like it!
