The Sterling Rope Accessory Cord is perhaps the highest quality accessory cord available, and incredibly versatile for climbing, recreation, rescue and utility applications. Sterling's accessory cord is made with twisted sheath yarn, which makes it more durable for long lasting performance. Please note that the accessory cords are not intended for use as climbing ropes. This is so important I repeat it in the features below with a bigWARNING. Sorry for yelling.

Awfully useful!I ordered the cord not caring about the color, but the roll I received is orange, not the blue above. It probably said "color not guaranteed" somewhere, but like I said, I didn't care. This stuff has a high melting point, nearly too much for my cutter, and holds a knot great. I cut a couple pieces to practice knots and mess around with. I hung one from a joist in the basement and put all my 240lbs on it. I even hopped on it a bunch to amuse my 3yr old. The cord is obviously stronger than this fat guy, and the knot didn't slip or freeze. It was fairly easy to undo at the end.

Solid, no hidden annoyances(almost)Totally good, I use it a lot to practice knots and making anchors, and then I use it to tie knots and make anchors outside. It runs pretty clean and snag free. The only thing I have noticed is it seems ever so slightly easy to make twists in, but on the same note they come out easy too,
