Get to know Moosejaw, Rochester
Our Moosejaw shop in The Village of Rochester Hills is located on the northeast corner of Walton and Adams. Coincidentally, I used to have two gerbils named Walton and Adam. Not really. Their names were actually Walter and Beatrice. But I digress, I feel like we've gotten off on the wrong foot here. I don't normally go around trying to trick people. So please believe me when I say that our Rochester shop has the friendliest, most sincere, and most knowledgeable staff around and they will not pull any kind of shenanigans when offering you advice on gear/apparel that you require to suit all of your outdoor needs.

Rochester is the jacket capital of Michigan. That's not true. However, we do carry a lot of different jackets. We carry a lot of different brands as well as styles. For walking around downtown Rochester, we recommend a fleece by Patagonia or The North Face Although, a water-proof jacket may be a good idea if that suede vest you're wearing is prone to rain damage. If you decide to go frolic in Rochester Park, you may need a heavier down coat by Marmot, Arc'teryx or Mountain Hardwear. Wrapping a kitten around your neck will also keep you warm, but we don't recommend that because we sell jackets.
Apples are really big here in Rochester. They dedicate a whole weekend to them during Arts and Apples Fest every summer. I'm not joking. I heard something about how one a day will keep the doctor away, but that seems far-fetched. My foot doctor told me that keeping shoes on my feet is a more logical way to stay out of his office.

Before you hop in your G-6 and head to your favorite rock wall, make sure to stop into our Rochester shop for some chapstick. No one likes chapped lips.
