Growing up, my family camped. This led to me getting paid (as long as everyone survived and returned to basecamp) to guide backpacking trips through New Mexico in my college years. Upon graduating with a degree in Ultimate Frisbee I moved to Chicago and began pursuing a white-collar profession. During this time I have climbed, hiked, biked or kayaked all over this country and a few other ones to boot. You have not lived until you almost kill a flock of sheep while driving in Wales for a winter ascent of Mt. Snowdon. Smash cut (it's a long story...) to me living in New England with a family and going back to what I love: being in the outdoors and getting others excited about being in the outdoors.

About outerwear I'm teeming with a lot o' news, with many cheerful facts about the material and the breathability. I'm very good at climbing and backpacking; I know the scientific names of beings animalculous: In short, in matters vegetable, animal, and mineral, I am the very model of a modern gear shop. Nevertheless, it's awesome race and you are bound to get really muddy and have the best time ever. I'm only doing it for the fuzzy warrior hat you get once you complete the race.

Jackets Footwear Climbing Backpacking Clothing

Jackets are a strange concept to me. If only we could be like any animal with fur. We grow out our coats when it's cold and then get shaved when it's warm. That would save us a lot of trouble that's for sure. Unfortunately, unless you're really hairy, which is kind of gross, you have to wear a jacket when it's cold. Lucky for you, we have a huge selection of jackets. Brands like Arc'teryx, Patagonia, and The North Face will keep you warm and dry. From down coats to light-weight jackets, the Moosejaw shop staff will make sure you're dressed appropriately for any weather condition.

Is it just me or does everybody wear a lot of sandals in Natick? To tell you the truth, I've never been to Natick. But, who doesn't love sandals? It was a safe assumption. Anyways, we not only carry a lot of sandals at our Moosejaw shop, we carry a variety of shoes like boots, hiking shoes, and snowshoes in case you're one of the weirdos that don't like sandals. We have brands like Keen, Reef and Vibram. In case you don't like those, we have more. Check out our Natick shop to see what I'm talking about. Also, ask the shop manager to see his pinky toe. Trust me, it's worth seeing. That is all.

The Moosejaw shop in Natick is home to some of the awesomest climbing gear around. Is awesomest a word? It's coming up underlined in red as I'm writing this. Oh well. Black Diamond, Metolius, andPetzl are just some of the sweet brands we carry that will make your climbing experience even better. We will make sure you have your carabiner, chalk bag, belay device, climbing shoes, rope and the list goes on and on. Have any questions? Ask our shop staff about anything to do with climbing. They will be able to answer any and every question you throw at them. Don't actually throw anything at them. They probably won't react nicely.

Ask our shop staff about the backpacks we carry. They will probably give you a weird look. Don't worry; they just want the secret password. Lucky for you, I'm going to give it to you. Before they finish their sentence, scream in their face "YOUR MOM IS HOT." Just make sure you're saying that to a shop employee and not just another custy. Rookie mistake. Anyways, the shop staff will smile and then show you the giant wall we have full of backpacks. Because you know the secret password they will give you all the details on every backpack by Camelbak, Osprey, and Gregory and what makes them so unique. You will be in awe over the different colors and styles we have. You can thank me later.

Natick is the t-shirt capital of the world. That's not true. But our Moosejaw shop has some cool t-shirts, as well as underwear, yoga pants, and hoodies. We have a bunch of other stuff, too. I just only wear yoga pants and hoodies. Notice how I didn't say underwear. Anyway, we have brands like Prana, Lole, Patagonia, Icebreaker, and The North Face. From baselayers and jackets to snowpants and bikini bottoms, we have everything in-between. You're bound to find something that you need. Or don't need but want. Either way, check them out for yourself. I bet you a bottle of ketchup that you'll find something you love.
