We're looking for some assistant shop managers. Our Assistant Managers help manage the shop and staff and have an enthusiastic, fun and positive attitude while assisting customers with sales and product information. Many of them can dance pretty well. And some have decent hopscotch skills.

We are looking for customer service reps to add to our headquarters located in Madison Heights, Michigan. The rumors are all true. You will love this place. Your mom wasn't lying.

Customer service reps have an enthusiastic and positive attitude while assisting customers over the phone and through IM with internet orders and questions. We have a reputation for giving the finest service in the world and having tons of fun while doing it.

There are a variety of schedules available. We're pretty flexible, but we still can't do the splits. If you're not interested, please tell at least six friends, one ex-girl/boyfriend, and two enemies.

Shop Training & Communications Coordinator

Over the past year we've grown from 7 to 11 shops and now we're hiring our first ever Shop Training & Communications Coordinator. Personally I wanted to call this position Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, but the team nixed the idea. Apparently this job has nothing to do with the crossroads and in the end the only thing we could agree upon was STCC.

We're clearly looking for someone awesome who loves the madness, gets what's going on in our shops, hearts customers so much they want to make out with them (but not for reals) and has a true passion for fixing system issues. Traveling to Moosejaw shops is a part of the job. Plus candidates must have pretty open availability as the job will sometimes require nights and weekends during inventory, training things and the like.

Responsibilities Include:

• Partnering with all stakeholders to ensure marketing, merchandising, financial, HR and operational directives are delivered to the shops
• Assisting with the compilation of all shop-related information and creating reports for weekly shop communications
• Working with shop management to publish monthly updates to the standard operating binder (SOB)
• Maintaining existing shop training initiatives and creating and implementing new initiatives
• Scheduling in-store vendor clinics and assisting in weekend clinic planning, as well as creating and maintaining a current vendor rep directory
• Maintaining all Google Drive task work and documentation
• Controlling retail inventory management, including performing adjustments, solving negative inventory issues and any other daily inventory issues that arise
• Creating and managing weekly shop transfer requests and assisting shops with phantom inventory
• Assisting in leading the inventory team, including preparing for inventory, attending all physical inventories and post inventory wrap-up
• Partnering with shops to re-run all failed orders and solving all exchange card balances
• Managing all voucher and vendor order issues
• Assisting shops with the warranty process, including customer warranties and in-house warranties
• Performing weekly audits on sales and returns for discounts and profiles, as well as holding the shops accountable to the current SOB policy
• Assisting the Shop Training & Communications Manager with all department-related functions and keeping the retail team informed on all necessary matters
• Doing really cool stuff that's worth telling your best friend, neighbor, ex-g/b friend and creepy uncle about

Things we'd like you to bring to the table:

• 1 - 2 years of work or internship experience in a retail environment required, in-store experience is preferred
• Training/development experience is preferred, but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Knowledge of outdoor gear products and brands is preferred
• Must have strong project management skills and be highly organized and detail oriented. Plus have excellent planning, execution, and follow-up skills, highly developed written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be extremely self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and innovative. Must be able to maintain a high degree of flexibility, adapt quickly to changing business requirements and be able to thrive amidst chaos.
• Must enjoy a team based, collaborative culture where open communication, prudent risk taking and idea generation from all levels are encouraged and rewarded as part of the pursuit of corporate results

We're seeking sales associates for all shop locations. This job involves sales, customer service and humans. Or Homo Sapiens and stuff if you prefer to be technical. The technical part of that sentence was the word "stuff."

Moosejaw sales associates have an enthusiastic, fun and positive attitude while assisting customers with sales and product information. A good sense of humor, creative mindset and passion for customer service are needed. Like an I-love-you-so-much-I-want-to-have-a-million-babies-with-you passion for customer service. Plus outdoor gear knowledge is preferred.

Moosejaw Models Wanted

We're looking for a few female models, age 18-25, to pose gracefully in the coolest products we carry. Models will be used for in-house photo shoots at our headquarters located in Madison Heights, Michigan. This will be great exposure (and I don't mean indecent by any means) for up-and-coming models as they'll appear in our print, catalog and online material.

• Modeling experience is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older. No ifs, ands or buts.
• Michigan applicants only. Although we love the rest of the country, we're quite partial to Michigan. Oh yeah, and Moosejaw will not be paying for expenses to travel to our headquarters. So it'd probably save you a lot of money in gas if you live in state.
