I bought this pullover for my girlfriend who is always freezing. Well, $100 dollars later and now she's like a freshly baked potato. It's fun to hug her while she's wearing it…

This is a fantastic jacket for everything from light showers to heavy rainfall. The arms are wide enough to fit a midlayer under without sacrificing mobility. I ordered a smal…

About Patagonia |
Patagonia is a top contender when it comes to clothing for climbers. I like to think Patagonia would also be a top contender in boxing. I'm just saying. Anyways, it's not just alpinists of all skill levels that choose to wear Patagonia clothing. Skiers, surfers, trailrunners and many other outdoor enthusiasts love to wear Patagonia. This activewear powerhouse sprouted from the humble origins of a small company selling tools for climbers. They sure have come a long way. After developing, re-developing, and developing again, Patagonia made Synchilla which is a double-face fabric that does not pill. This fabric was a big hit among outdoor lovers. Soon after, Patagonia replaced the traditional polypropylene underwear with Capilene polyester. Lovers of Patagonia realized the amazing layering benefits of both Patagonia Capilene and Synchilla. Others also began to realize the awesomeness of Patagonia clothing and soon it became part of the everyday wardrobe of many. There are some great Patagonia jackets available. It can get confusing keeping up with all the crazy Patagonia innovations and fabrics. You may find yourself wondering just what this new R1, R2, R3 and R4 stuff is. Well I'm going to sort out the details for you. Patagonia R1 – The Patagonia R1 jackets and pullovers are great to wear when you know you are going to be moving a lot. The polyester R1 fabric is stretchable, warm and has excellent breathability. But the greatness doesn't end there. The Patagonia R1 is lightweight so it can be worn as insulation or a thermal baselayer. It also wicks moisture so you stay dry and happy. Patagonia R2 – The Patagonia R2 jackets have all the best protection properties without the bulk so movement is made easy. The R2 fabric is lightweight, compressible and has great breathability. The Patagonia R2 jackets have the coolest way of keeping you warm. Insulating longer fibers are dispersed throughout smaller dense fibers to create excellent insulation. Patagonia R3 – The Patagonia R3 jackets are really warm but also really breathable. The R3 jackets feature a velour face to provide wind resistance and an interior velour grid for extra comfort and moisture management. The Patagonia R3 jacket can be worn as insulation or alone and still keep you warm and comfortable. Patagonia R4 – The Patagonia R4 jacket is one intense jacket. It is perfect for backcountry skiing and alpine climbing. This jacket is made from a windproof laminate that is sandwiched between a one-sided R2 polyester on the outside and a one-sided R2 grid on the inside. You can wear the Patagonia R4 jacket under a shell for insulation or just by itself. It will perform great either way.You can find Patagonia clothing for everyone. I'm talking everyone in your family, everyone on your Christmas list, everyone that has a birthday on the days of the week that end with a “y” and pretty much everyone in the world who dislikes purple balloons. There are more of those people out there than you think. We have men's Patagonia clothing, women's Patagonia clothing and kids' Patagonia clothing available. Everything from Patagonia long underwear to Patagonia jackets are available to layer up, stay warm and dry, and be comfortable during any outdoor activity. |
