About Mont-Bell

Way back in 1975, MontBell was established in Osaka, Japan. I'm kind of partial to them, because there was a great sushi restaurant near my old apartment called Osaka. And by great I mean really great. Anyway, MontBell started making rain gear for the wet climate in Japan. It wasn't long before everyone loved MontBell gear so much, they started making tents, clothing, parkas, and packs. In 1983, the year I was born, they released a new line of climbing shoes and gear. And I was born. Everything was so great after that.

Zoom forward to the 2000's and you'll see MontBell making the super awesome gear they make today. Take MontBell down sleeping bags for example: so, a bag like the MontBell U.L. Spiral Down Hugger 0 Degree Sleeping Bag has this super advanced thing they call the Spiral Stretch System. Basically, they orient the fabric of the sleeping bag differently so that it has a comfortable stretch and give to it. Super insulating and super comfortable, this MontBell sleeping bag also has 800 fill-power goose down fill. It even comes with a stuff sack, because MontBell loves you.
