So 686 was started by this guy named Mike West like a lifetime ago in 1992. He was a skateboarder first, but came to his senses and took up snowboarding. That was even longer ago like in 1985. Anyway, 686 is still independently rider-owned and operated, which is cool, I guess, if you're into that sort of thing.

686 is known for their unique clothing and gear and fashion-forward designs.
