There have been many a camping trips I wish I'd had this sleeping pad. So It doesn't smash back down very well, but it's not very heavy and was a great deal! Couldn't pass it up and I'm glad I didn't, slept very well on it!
Just like all Thermarest, it is built like a tank. Strong and lightweight, this pad is great for car camping. It doesn't pack down like it's gram weenie brothers and sisters do but it gets the job done and very well i might add- for half the price. It includes a fancy carrying bag too.
It is comfortable and it seems to be able to withstand moderate abuse. Easy to inflate. But not very compact. It's cheap though.
