"Great for long winter hikes"

I got these for a orienteering race. They held up great on the trails and were really comfy. We had a four mile hike down a paved road for part of the race and they were a little stiff but its not what they were made for. They are warm but not hot. With wool socks, I had no problems with blisters while the other guys on my team fought them from about 8 hours on. Great overall shoe. Size runs normal for a boot.
