"Comfy but disappointing" 11/27/12

I'd give this a 5 if the sole didn't come apart 6 months into normal wear and tear. These weren't my everyday shoe either. Besides that one of the comfiest pair of shoes I've ever owned!

"All around great shoe" 04/25/12

Purchased for a mix of trail and pavement and has outperformed my expectations. The weight is the greatest feature it is featherlight and the pull/lock lacing is great for quick adjustments and the you NEVER have to tie your shoes!. Great brand with great features no break in time was really necessary and the sizing was right on the money.

"New Favorite Trail Shoe" 12/13/11

Winter trail running in NCAL at 3500 ft. means 15-35 degrees F, soft snow, ice, mud, cold rain. Chilly slop. These shoes have kept my feet warm, dry and steadfastly gripping the trail every morning for the past three weeks. If you live somewhere with REAL winter, I can't comment. The quick-lace makes mid-run adjustments easy when you have gloves on. My boyfriend is totally jealous of these and I'm about to buy him a pair because I'm nice like that. Usual shoes: Saucony, Brooks with an extra arch support insert (Haven't needed the insert with the Salomons)Foot type: Narrow heel, Average toe width, mild pronation
