This is my favorite fleece jacket for a couple reasons - First off, the collar/neck isn't obscenely long like some of the other fleece jackets that I have (I can zip it up all the way and not look like I'm wearing a turtleneck). Second, it's really lightweight yet keeps you warm without overheating - the material breathes really well so you won't feel all hot & bothered. As for the fit, I would say it is "athletic" - I'm 5'10", 165 lbs and I purchased a medium. The sleeves are long enough to use the thumb holes and the jacket is form fitting without being restrictive.
I bought this for my husband - its soft, super warm, had monkey thumbs and is a great mid-level layer for when he is out hunting, snowshoeing, hiking etc. I gave it to him for his birthday and he never takes it off.
My husband wanted something with monkey-thumbs and he is outdoorsy so I got him this in black for Christmas. He loves it and doesnt want to take it off. Almost too good! Its a little thinner than I thought it would be, but really warm
