"This is the ideal backpack for the avid skier/backpacker/mountaineer." 04/20/13

Living in Colorado and skiing 100+ days a season, this backpack functioned beyond my expectations. It is the ideal companion for all touring/hiking in snowy conditions. Along with its lightweight and versatility, the pack holds up very well. Its diagonal straps are excellent for carrying skis, while its ergonomic back relieves all pressure on the lower-back. There is plenty of storage room and pockets. I would recommend this pack to anyone who enjoys getting after it in the mountains, but more specifically, this pack is the best friend for anyone who needs the functionality of patrol type pack.

"Anything and Everything" 12/13/12

This best by far is the best pack I owned. It can ice climb, rock climb, hike, ski, and so many uses. It can hold an ice ax, ski(s)/snowboard, crampons, goggles and avy tools-in dedicated packets without harming itself, nor the gear. In summer, the avy tools pocket can hold non-precious items. The goggle pocket hold phone and sunglasses, trekking poles, etc. It is the most comfortable pack I have owned. This is one of the few daypacks that has a removable stay. It can hold over 30 pounds. The hipbelt is dual pivoting, and moves with you. It also holds a helmet.

"Excellent" 11/20/12

I've only had this pack for 2 days, but I can tell it is of excellent quality. I was choosing between the Black Diamond Revelation and this, but chose this, and am glad I did.
