"Great Laptop Backpack" 06/03/13
I got this backpack as a laptop bag for the Anchor...I mean ball and chain... I mean leash.. I mean On call laptop I have to carry all the time. It has a nice padded section that easily contains my 17" laptop. It also has plenty of pockets and dividers for my Wifi hotspot, mouse, vpn token, snacks, etc. The adjustable straps are nice to be able to tighten everything up. It is very comfortable to wear, even when it is stuffed full of gear.
"Well Worth the Money. Just buy it already!" 01/30/13
This pack is incredible! I recently got the rockwall w/tan color. First off, the color is slightly different than the picture posted, in a good way! The color isn't gray but instead has a slight deep green color (especially in the straps). I am a student and can easily fit both my Macbook pro 15 in with case, study Bible (yeah you read that right.) or a couple of textbooks, a couple of notebooks and a couple moleskine journals. You can also easily fit all your computer accessories and other devices (aka mouse, external hard drive, ect). It is great. If you are thinking about getting it, just get it already!
"Great everyday backpack, perfect for college" 01/23/13
I've put this backpack through a lot. As a college student, I've stuffed it with books and my laptop constantly. When riding a bike, this bag stays on your back very well. I've gone on day hikes with it, and it fits great with little strain on your back. Also, it's very waterproof. I've walked through snow, sleet, rain, you name it, and my stuff has stayed completely dry. The only thing I would worry about is that the small pocket right behind the neck can get some moisture in it if you get soaked, because it does not have a solid waterproof lining like the rest of the zippers. Otherwise, this bag is perfect. I may not buy a different bag ever again.
"Patagonia Refugio Pack" 09/22/12
I purchased this backpack for school. I have a 13" Macbook Pro along with other school supplies (the computer hookups, large binder, textbook, pencil case) that fits well for this pack. It is so comfortable on. The back is cushioned the straps fit nicely. Has soooo many compartments. Protects the laptop. Stays clean. I am in love with this. I was a user of LL Bean and Jansport since I've been a kid. Not anymore. I will use this backpack for the rest of my life unless it catches on fire in the middle of a hurricane and then some bum steals it, then I will replace it for the same style. This is certainly worth investing in.
"Buy this backpack!" 09/07/12
I ordered this bag using Moosejaw Rewards Points and I have never looked back. I have the Narwhal Grey w/ Cilantro color scheme which is really awesome. The bag has more than enough compartments to hold all my stuff. Every day I carry my laptop including power adapter and other cables, two to three textbooks, my Kindle and sometimes my lunch and the bag never feels crammed. The compression straps are a great add-on too, but I've yet to use them. I also love the little pocket on top that I think is meant for an mp3 player, but I've conscripted it into use for my sunglasses.
"Backpack and Chick Magnet" 02/29/12
I use this bag to go to class and I love it when someone asks me where I got it! It is the perfect size to carry books and snacks for class and then it transforms to a day pack for the weekend getaway. My favorite parts are the laptop pocket that is also a water bladder pocket and the soft fabric lined upper pocket for sunglasses and my phone. This bag does everything. Girls come up and talk to me, and then I realize they just want a closer look at my bag. Then I take them camping.
"perfect for school and travel!" 01/02/12
I used to carry a North Face backpack at school until the straps started breaking and the fabric was ripping and the bottom almost fell out...then I upgraded to THIS! The padded straps make heavy textbooks feel like nothing and there's plenty of pockets for everything. When I'm not lugging it around at school I use it for day hikes and travel and it puts up with everything! Nice, durable and a great look.
"This pack is a campus champ" 08/20/11
I use this pack around campus - it's big enough for my laptop, books, and whatever else I need, but it never loses it's structure or gets lumpy, even when packed to the brim, so it stays comfortable. Strangely, the vertical zipper in the middle of the pack is my favorite part - it's great for things that I tend to take out and re-pack frequently (ie, computer cord). The outside side pockets are deep enough that my water-bottle never falls out, even when I'm biking and generally throwing the thing around.
"Great school bag/day pack" 06/14/11
This is what I currently use as my bookbag. it is a very comfortable pack. designed well. the organization in the bag is also a plus, set up well. The compression straps are helpful when the pack isnt totally full. keeping the light load close to your back. The laptop sleeve provides adequate protection for your computer (which is a must for me, since I have a very expensive macbook pro). all n all, great bag for school or work.
