"Does what its supposed to and takes up very little space" 08/12/12

I usually over pack for trips and have been trying to lighten my pack weight. I got this for a recent overnight trip to Mount Washington. The product worked great but there are trade offs for the space savings. The silicone does provide good heat protection (for a while anyway) but the cup is not as comfortable to hold without a grip. The bottom of the bowl is made of hard plastic so it will keep its shape but it seemed a little bit flimsy, I would have liked for it to be a little thicker. I will continue to use this set while I look for something better.

"A pleasant surprise..." 04/23/11

All of these products are great! I thought cleaning would be an issue since they were collapsable.. but I was pleasantly surprised. There are no nooks or crannies for food to get stuck in. I use the mug as my bowl because it is fairly wide, and let my dog use the actual bowl for his water.. which he appreciates. Looks as if it wouldn't be able to handle really hot contents, but it does just fine. I think these will last a good while. The set collapses down to where I can fit it in the slot with my hydration pack. Super light and compact... takes up virtually no space. Highly recommend for the trail or car camping!
