"Perfect Shoes" 05/09/12
These shoes are all around great. I've used them on an indoor wall and they held up. I've used them bouldering and multi-pitching and they work great for that too. Initially they fit really snug but after a few days of climbing the loosened up to perfect. I have pretty narrow feet and I typically wear a 9.5 and I ordered a 10.5. That was a good call. If you are looking at buying your first pair of shoes, I'd recommend going up a size. I'd recommend these shoes to anyone who asked, from beginners to experts. The rubber on these is super good and the laces let you get the shoes just right. five ten is the best.
"These are fantastic" 02/23/12
I just climbed with these for the first time (indoors) and they are great. I wear a 6.5 in street shoes, usually 6 in climbing shoes, and I ordered a 7. They were pretty tight when I first put them on, but within the first hour of climbing they proved to be a perfect fit, and I left with no blisters or foot irritation. The traction made smearing and gripping small holds easy, but not too easy. These are really comfortable shoes. I'm a little worried that the leather will stretch out with wear and make them a little too big since the fit is so great right now, but I love them so far!
"Love these shoes and would recommend them to anyone" 01/31/12
Grate shoe, really good rubber. Perfect for smearing and edging. Extremely comfortable, I'm basically the only one that can wear their shoes all day with out wanting to scream. Order them larger then you normally would! I take a size 10, but had to get an 11 but braking them in was still terrible.
"Size Size Size!" 08/26/11
I just got these in the mail today and they would have been my second pair of climbing shoes (my first being a very used pair of Boreals I got from campus rec at a Gear Swap). Let me say the good stuff first, they're very pretty, the laces seem strong and they seem like they're really good quality. The bad stuff, they run small. I read online that you should order a half size up so I did (I'm an 8, got an 8.5). there is no way I could climb in these without crying hysterically after the first pitch. I'm exchanging these for a 9.5, hopefully they'll come in pretty fast, as my climbing class starts up next Wednesday, I'm looking forward to coming back and giving them a Love It review.
"cutest, most comfy climbing shoes out there" 01/16/11
I bought these this past summer for a horizontal climb course. They were a bit uncomfortable at first but after the 4th climb they seemed to break in. Note that with all climbing shoes they are NOT comfortable when you're standing on flat ground. So hop up on a rock wall before you declare them to be too small. They are pretty comfy once you start climbing. The inside of the shoe is naked leather but the seams never irritated my foot. I typically wear 6.5 or 7 in regular shoes and ordered 7 in these. These are the most comfy five tens I've tried on. So if you're on the wall about these shoes (pun intended), might as well take my advice and just order them already. You'll be glad you did.
"True to size and easy to break in" 12/20/10
I've been climbing for a few years and have always used five ten brand. After about the third light climb this shoes feel great. They seemed to break in and form to my feet better then others I've tried. Plus the looks are always a plus!
"Great shoes for a beginner! And some of the cutest climbing shoes out there! ;)" 12/09/10
I have only used these shoes in a climbing gym but they seem to be a great multipurpose type shoe. They seem to be true to size and I love the more feminine look that they have. Also, the laces are designed so that they don't slip untied.
"Great for beginners" 10/08/10
This was my first climbing shoe and I really like 5.10s. It's nice for the price, especially for beginners who don't want to spend $150 on shoes they're not sure they will use that often. I've only worn these a few times but they seem very comfortable and edge pretty well. I don't know how they will stand up in the long run, but for now they are going great!
"Great Shoes!" 11/18/09
I bought these shoes to get back into climbing after being away for a few years. They are really great shoes for beginners. Very comfortable. I would suggest ordering a whole size up. I normally wear a 7.5 and had to get an 8.5. Definitely a good choice for the price.
