"ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE PANTS EVER..." 11/26/12
...only nock on these guys would be the length. I'm 6', 175lbs., and wear a 32-33 waist. I ordered the 32 waist. The waist was fine but I wish the length were a wee bit longer. You can dress these up or dress them down - perfect for any outdoor activity or urban outting. I actually own 2 of these pants.
"Wear these anywhere. On the trail, to the office, out to the bars. Comfy and styling!" 11/08/12
What can I say? Great fit. Rugged enough to take on the hiking trails, yet classy enough to wear to the office or going out. The regular quality yo expect from patagonia!
"Which size did i buy again?" 08/02/12
In terms of comfort, wear of fabric etc...love these. In terms of quality control, questionable.I own 3 pair in 3 different colors, all of which fit completely differently. Would guess a difference of 1.5" in waist from pair to pair. They've lasted (wear them every day to work) so i will keep my eyes open for more when they go on sale again.
"Business in the front, no party in the back." 02/19/12
I got these pants as casual hangout pants that could handle forays into the wilderness but was surprised to see that they are more like work/office pants. They have a great build quality and are very comfortable, but if your intent is to wear them with your gunked up sneakers and an old moosejaw hoodie, they may look a little out of place.
"Snug compared to other Patagonia pants" 02/01/12
I've got the builder pants and heavy weight shorts by Patagonia and had to size down from 33 to 32w. The waste band on the Duck is short compared to the other 32w's. It's a snug fit but still comfortable and I would recommend these but size up an inch on the waist.
"Great material, bit of a tight fit." 01/18/12
Having already owned these in a different colour...was a matter of going for it! Fit is on the small side, but length is true. Material has held up great to wear and wash cycles. These are dressy enough for work, but survive whatever you throw at them.
"perfect pants" 01/16/12
most pants today are slim. I have big legs (its not cool) so most of the pants I try on feel like spandex. These are the perfect fit. Not slim fit, but not baggy like a 6th grader's jeans in the 90's. Work or play these pants are perfect
"great pants, love them!" 12/31/11
I picked these up at an REI scratch and dent sale for $20, with tag "used lightly, did not like style" Personally, I love the style. They aren't cargo pants and bulky so I can wear them around casually any time. They are nice and comfortable without any restrictions which is great for hiking. I wear a size 30 waist and unfortunately I bought a size 32, but I couldn't be too picky at the scratch and dent. When I first took it off the rack I figured I would have to wear a belt with it, but surprisingly they fit perfectly! Overall great product.
"The best pants ever!!" 12/26/11
I bought these pants for my picky 23 year old son for Christmas. He says they are the coolest pants he has ever had!!! I'm getting ready to order another pair because he likes them so much. I would recommend them highly!!!
"Very Comfortable Pants" 12/13/11
The Patagonia Duck Pants are very comfortable for daily wear, fit well either relaxing or at the office. The fit is true and slightly relaxed but not baggy they are a great pair of pants and I would defiantly recommend them.
"These are NOT Mountain Khakis" 11/12/11
I bought these because I couldn't find Mountain Khakis in my size (32x30) at the time. I am a huge Patagonia fan and own a lot of Patagonia products but these don't compare to anything in the MK line-up.
