The Contrail Toque by Arcteryx is inspired by the Vikings, this 100% wool toque features a bold top braid and fleece lined earflaps with braided ties. Funky patterns and a contrast-stitched Bird logo enhance its fierceness.

I really like this hat as it is not only very warm, it also easy to spot in a large crowd, which is very useful when trying to meet some in a very crowded place.

This hat is tits, and I wear it on a daily basis to brave the weather in Fargo. On a separate note, I was helped by the nicest service representative ever today! Her name is Erin, and like most of my experiences with Moosejaw, she left me with a smile on my face and the notion that I will be back next time I need any gear. Please tell Erin's supervisor to give her a raise, or lunch, or something. She deserves it.

"Awesome hat" 12/13/12

Great hat from Arcteryx, Squid blue it probably the best color out of the bunch. Pro tip, do not wash this hat in the washing machine, it will die. Also, as someone else has pointed out, if you need to wear it under a helmet, the bob can be cut off.

"Colorful, fun, warm!" 01/17/12

Love this toque! I wore this hat in Tahoe this past week and it kept my head and ears comfortably warm in super high winds and freezing temps on the slopes. The quality is exceptional, as to be expected by Arc'teryx. The fleece lining is soft and comfy. The colorful pattern helped tie many colors of my layers together - which was even noted by a couple of the men I was skiing with. Enjoy!

"Warm, Durable, and Thick" 12/28/11

You might be buying this for looks, because clearly, it's awesome. However; there is solid knitting all the way around. It is thick and warm and includes fleece batting around the inside for your ears. Also, has 3 tassles.
