This harness is super small and super lightweight! It's a great item to keep in your pack when 1) backpacking - in case you see some crack, or 2) backpacking in winter that might turn into mountaineering.
This harness is super light and packs down small. It also comes super small. Unless you are super skinny you will need a larger or XL and if you are on the bigger side don't look at this harness.
This is the lightest harness you can buy. I really wanted it. Lucky for me I tried it on at a local shop and surprise the non adjustable leg loops didn't fit over my standard jeans let alone my mountaineering shell paints. Ended up getting the BD Couloir instead. I wanna say this harness is intended to be worn over your base layer and not the outer layer? That would have been "awkward" to test that theory in the store. If you can make it work it doesn't get any lighter than this. Camp-Next time make the leg loops adjust....
I know that they say that the harness is lightweight yet strong. However, when trying it on I felt like I was wrapping a piece of toilet paper around me. I just don't think that I would be comfortable climbing around when I thought toilet paper was holding me up. Thats why I went with a little heavier but sturdier harness.
